Arkane 270 May 11, 2013 Share May 11, 2013 (edited) So. I had this weird Idea that I thought would be funny. Its a fake podcast interview thing featuring different characters from different games, movies, etc. They are asked questions about the show like who is their favorite pony and why, their headcanons, their analysis and etc. I have one problem though. I need someone who can write their responses that actually suit their character. Like say.. if its an interview with Glados, it has to have that dominatrix (lol) feel to it with alot of sarcasm, nuerotoxins, and cake. If its with a Space Marine, it would have full of rage, anger towards the ponies seeing them as xenos and etc. If its with gordon freeman, then its just crowbar sounds. I was wondering if I can get some help here in doing so. I'll deal with the voice actors later when the writing is finished. But for now.. Anyone wanna help me with this? Fender 1,283 May 11, 2013 Share May 11, 2013 (edited) @@Arkane, Well, to start, you might want an idea of each and every character you will include, and to list them here. Then you can be sure of what to right down, and VA's will be sure of who they can act. Edited May 11, 2013 by Becker (Fender)

Next would be a Cyberman which also doesnt need a VA when replicating. Next would be Gordon Freeman since all I need are crowbar sound effects. Basically, I want all those with no voice actors to go first.

Freeman would be wasted effort, really...and then you *would* need a voice for the other two. If you're just going to generate a voice with software for either of them, without having an organic base, you might as well just use microsoft Sam. I have no problems with the voices since I'm in contact with tons already. Do know that I would prefer to use real voices rather than software. Especially when setting off emotions. I will certainly look for real VAs but if no one complies OR none of the VAs who auditioned met the standard I've set for a certain character, a last resort would be that I might resort into using a software. And I dont think Freeman's interview would be a wasted effort. I had planned him to do make crowbar sounds but with subtitles to translate the crowbar things. xD
