Something's up with the recently discussed topic list...

Don't know whether this is a bug or not, but when I was looking through the recently discussed topics list, I got the exact same topic twice. Anyone know what's going on?

It could possibly be an error on the forum or the OP's part. The user who posted that topic might have accidentally (or purposefully) posted the topic twice. What topic is it, and what part of the forum is it in?

This could be attributed to two things. The first is that the OP posted the thread twice by mistake (Or cuz Spam)

Or secondly, it's a roleplay topic which uses the same name, but the threads are placed in separate area's, the OOC Discussion and the Actual RP area itself.

Such an error could happen if a topic is merged into another, too. The second topic takes on the firsts' name, and the original topics' URL takes a few days to delete, so you end up with two of the same topic that go to the same place.

Ahh, I've seen that one

Yes that one is an RP Topic. The reason you see two is because the creator used the exact same name for both the discussion topic and the actual RP itself. This will happen sometimes, nothing to worry about really

If you see any more duplicate topics, take into consideration the other answers above. If you see a topic that simply been created twice for no real reason, reporting it as Duplicate content is greatly appreciated.
