I have researched further into the sexual assault case, and believe I have found the true culprit.

 

 

I took his clues, but apparently no one else did. He said that there is a rapist in Linkin Park. Normally the only rape that Linkin Park commits is of the ears of their listeners, but I could not ignore this vital clue.

 

I knew that this had to be further explored.

 

I approached the shrine of lord Cthulu and sought guidance in the case while wearing my Sherlock Homes hat and smoking a pipe full of powered ibuprofein (Citation needed)

The Lord of the Deep pointed me in the direction of the lead singer, which to be honest, he kind of does look like the type that would be a convict.

 

Here is the true culprit.
