Help! Cutie Marks dont look legitimate...

I need some help making my cutie mark look more... MLPish. I like it! But then I look at other OCs or watch the show and I feel inadequate!!

This is my Florist ponys:


Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to completly revamp it though! But small additions would be acceptable. Glitter? Sparkles?

It brilliant and I don't think Its out with the show... it's prefect for a florists cutie mark and should suit well, what colour is your OC's coat? that may help with the design

I think what may be odd about it is that it has shading. All the ponies in the show have flat, unshaded cutie marks (of course, it might just be Flash). I'd suggest getting rid of the gradient and orange marks in the center of the big flower, and making the central flower a bit smaller.

You want to common-ize the OC, but to make your OC unique and different from others' isn't a bad idea.

This. I agree with this, but I do have my own opinion.

 

My suggestion would be to remove the leaves. The pony is a florist, so (I think) just flowers would be enough to show that (s)he's a florist. And make them one-colored (as Rain Crow have mentioned before, remove the gradients).

Another plus to removing the gradient would be less time and effort drawing the mark. Removing the leaves would also make it smaller.

I agree about the gradient, I just thought originally it added something special.. but now it just seems to hinder her haha
