I've begun digitally coloring my sketches in GIMP. I think it looks pretty good! Here are the pics I've done so far:

 

This was sketched as a concept for a character in a project I'm working on. I loved how it turned out, so I scanned it and colored it in--and it looked even better!

 

This was an older sketch, for a different project (one I intend to make in the future after I've gained experience). I finally colored it in and I think it looks pretty good! There is a detail missing, but oh well. (He's supposed to have whiskers but I forgot to add them )
