Nature's Spell 526 June 8, 2013 Share June 8, 2013 Two things, in particular, have stood out to me thus far. First, there seems to be a major time difference between Equestia and Earth. I'm guessing only a few hours passed between the crown being stolen and Twilight going into the mirror, but Sunset Shimmer seems to be pretty well established in this parallel universe. I wonder how big the difference is and will it be a plot point? The other thing I found weird is when Sunset Shimmer says "Who is this Twilight Sparkle?" When she has to know who she is since she stole her crown. Makes me wonder if she forgot where she's from, it wasn't her line, or is it confusing because it's taken out of context. I also can't figure out how Twilight can be fully dressed when she arrives. Where did she get the clothes? Also where will she live and how can she just show up at a school and become a new student with no parents or home address? I know just suspend disbief and accept. :-) Princess Twilight Sparkle: Princess of Friendship Princess Luna: Princess of the Night My short stories

I don't think that there is necessarily a time dilation, but maybe she ran into the human world equivalent of Sunset Shimmer. Or that was a "rhetorical" question, like "Who is she to stand in my way?" And if she went right through the mirror shortly after the Chrystal Empire reappeared, she had a few weeks or months to establish there, I guess. You might be right and trailers often take things out of context or actually show events in a better way than the actual movie scene. Trailers are often better than the movie! Trailers are often better than the movie! I hope, you mean that only the second trailer is perhaps better than the movie. *chuckles* The first one was just one easy to misinterpret bunch of cliche-supporting scenes and stuff. A simple teaser would have done better in the first place. I am still critic, but I think it will be well written, even though it has an awful premise... Oh, shoot! Why do I get the feeling that I will possibly like it in the end? Edited June 8, 2013 by StatesTheOblivious "If men define situations as real, they are real in their consequences." - W. I.
