@,@@Alex Kennedy,

Orion smiled at the Mare. "You don't have to show me anything. It is clear enough that you are indeed a revolutionary. And you didn't disrespect me, you were simply unsure and a bit worried as far as trusting me goes. It's understandable. Their is much cruelty, betrayal, and lack of honor out in the world, so it's extremely hard to trust a stranger in such time. I even felt like that too for a while.

Orion then turned to Ghaoth and Solarwind. "Whatever you have planned, as long as it's objective involves ridding ponykind of these savage Terracottas...I am willing to devote my life to it.

@@Alex Kennedy,

"I don't see a problem, that said I will keep an eye for any... suspicious behavior."

He glanced around the room, something didn't feel right, his feathers began to twitch and his horn tingled.

"As for the matter of Terracotta, our first step, is to organize a resistance force. Our first target is the Mai'Ken camp, to the east.

They harvest unicorn magic, if we can free any unicorns to aid us, it will be invaluable! However. The Mai'Ken are smart, we'll have to be careful no one overhears our plan..."

He stepped around the floorboards and turned to Ghaoth.

"Someone else is here. Can you feel it?"

He couldn't tell where. He just had that uneasy tingling feeling you get when you're being watched.

@,

Minath felt it too, and bulled down her hood to reveal her horn, but kept her wings hidden.

"May I cast a reveal spell? It comes in handy for re-con. If anypony's here, they will be identified. I changed the way it works to injure any Terra's in the area, but I can't cast it over long distances."

@,

Ghaoth shook his head. "I'm afraid my instincts aren't quite on a level with yours. I don't feel anything exactly, although now that you mention it... I think I can hear something somewhere above us." ((I'm assuming that batponies take after bats in that they have at least somewhat inferior sight and proportionally enhanced hearing.))

"I'm not familiar with magic, although I have a horn I gave my abilities to another long ago. I can't cast a spell. If you think you can show us, please do."

He tightened a valve, on his arm and looked around.

"This is your last chance. Come out now, or things could get complicated."

He worried it was a scout from the Terracotta camps, or something else bent on revealing their location, and motive.

Empyrean bit her lip at first, hoping that the Alicorn's 'feeling' would fade and they'd continue, however it seemed Fate itself was conspiring against her. As soon as the Alicorn noted his suspicion, a hooded unicorn offered a spell to check, while another noted that they could hear something.

If this wasn't enough, the Alicorn proceeded to tighten a valve on his mechanical arm, threatening her. Had she been one of considerable patience and skill, she might have tried to hide instead of reveal herself. Fortunately for the rebels, this was not so. Jumping in fright, she proceeded to scramble down the stairs, slowing to a hover as she reached the middle.

"Y-y-you don't have to resort to violence! Please- I'm just being par- cautious, is all! You never know if these things are set-ups by Terra- but you could still be one! You'll never take me alive, if that's the case!" She rambled, revealing her left dagger. Realizing she was potentially threatening actual rebels, she returned it to its hidden position, rubbing her hooves together. "B-But if you aren't, I'd be happy to slaughter some of those things!" She quavered, pointing to the Terracotta on the floor and giving the group a wide smile.

She had a score to settle with those things, and if these rebels were the real deal, it'd be a bad idea to blow such a chance. Hopefully they considered her genuine, however given the conversation earlier, she expected to be nigh interrogated.

Orion turned to the frightened pegasus. He was surprised that there were other pony survivors besides the group he already seen; he wondered how many more lucky survivors were out there. He could tell that the pegasus was worried, scared and a bit of unease, so he tried to help her out.

"Wow, another travelling survivor! You do not need to have fear or worry! It's understandable considering our current situation and what I just had to deal with, but reassured, I know our group could use as many new recruits as possible. I'm obviously not in any position to talk or interrogate, for I have barely just joined myself, plus that is the leader's role, but for the sake of everypony here, please explain yourself more clearly and perhaps tell us where you came from. " Orion tried to comfort and reassure her. He then turned to the group.

"Let's all give her a chance to explain herself and her origins in detail, just as I did minutes ago. She is as much of a innocent and worried pony as we all are, and everypony deserves the chance to speak from their own perspective."

Orion then turned back to face the pegasus and gave a reassuring smile.

"Don't be afraid. Just tell us a bit more about yourself."

"I don't know when the top secret rebellion meeting became a community event. But the more the merrier, I guess..."

He sat down on the Terracottas body again. Holding his head trying to figure out if he could trust the new arrivals.

"You're right, we don't know when something is a setup, like two strange new rebels appearing at a top secret meeting."

It was unlikely, Terracotta wouldn't send in two ponies to spy, they would ambush the building and put a spear in anyone insides throat.

He nodded at the two.

"Regardless, it doesn't appear either of you are particularly dangerous. I hope you'll excuse my skepticism. I haven't been sleeping alot lately."

He didn't want anyone to know just yet of his insomnia. It was likely that at any moment he could crash, it had been weeks since he fell asleep, and every little noise or feeling felt like a bullet to him. Atleast this once he was right about a pony hiding, and hadn't been hallucinating like before.

As Copper opened the door (to what seemed to have been an old bakery) and peeked inside, his eyes was met with a most peculiar sight. A pretty large group(just that is strange enough these days) of various ponies seemed to be surrounding the body of a what seemed to be a stone(ha ha)-dead Terra. "I guess that's proof enough that they aren't working for them"

One thing in particular that catches Copper's eye, was the fact that it seemed no less than an alicorn resting his flank on the body of the dead beast. "Most interesting... I didn't even know there still were alicorns out there anymore..."

Realizing that he was just standing there, Copper finally decided it was time to introduce himself to the group. Fully opening the door and stepping away from the shadows, he boldly(at least that's what he hoped it seemed like) stepped into the room.

"Well I guess there no sense in just standing here, it's time... for introductions! I... am Captain Copper Lock, At your service!" He said while making a tip of the hat and a small bow.

"Oh, did I maybe interrupt something?"

Amber watched from across the street as another pony stepped into the ruined bakery, this one being a earth pony wearing a decorated top hat. 'What's going on over there, a brass gears and mechanical body part convention?' she thought sarcastically and stepped away from the only intact window in what had once been her ship. Solemnly she lit a candle and sat down at a lopsided desk with a burnt book lying on the top. Turning to a clean page she picked up a charcoal pen in her mouth and began to write.

Captain's Log, day 98.

It's been nearly three weeks now since those giant green freaks shot me out of the sky, my food supply is beginning to run low, I had to start rationing it yesterday. Water too, I set up the rain barrel but there hasn't been a drop of water since I crashed here, instead the skies seem to be happy staying perpetually cloudy. Curse this place, I was supposed to have met up with Thesbie in Equestria by now, hope she's alright.

Something different happened today, there has been a large group of ponies gathering across the road in the weird cupcake building with the smashed roof. They're the first ponies I've seen since that insane old hag that came through screaming that the "Terras were after her", whatever that means. Anyway, I think I'm gonna go talk to that group across the street and pray they're friendly. If they are, who knows? Maybe they'll help me get my ship working, or at least point me the right way to Equestria. If they aren't friendly...

Amber sat back and closed the journal, unable to write any more. After stashing her log under the sagging bed she picked up a double-barreled sawn-off shotgun and strapped it to her chest where she could easily reach the mouth grip at a moment's notice. Finally she pulled on her leather vest and brushed her short mane back out of her eyes. Taking a deep breath she turned and walked out of the giant gaping hole that had once been a wall.

((What are the rules on cursing? I'm assuming this is rated PG, but I wanted to be sure.))

Minath pulled her hood back up, and was silent. at least they hadn't noticed the bulge on her sides where her wings were folded. And she was glad she didn't have to cast the spell. The most comfortable position for an alicorn to cast was with wings spread. The spell would've been less effective if she didn't spread her wings, and she wasn't ready to reveal that she was an alicorn. Hopefully they just thought her to be a unicorn, no more.. no less...

Amber slipped up next to the door of the building on high alert. Normally she wouldn't be so jumpy, but something about getting your ship shot out of the sky by giant trolls with flaming ballistae tended to put a pony on edge. Cautiously she laid one ear upon the wall, inside she heard voices in a passive discussion.

'What am I doing? How do I know this isn't a bloodthirsty group of cyborg bandits who kill ponies and use scavenged body parts to upgrade themselves into superponies with unnatural powers?...'

Amber shook her head, deciding that she was probably blowing things out of proportions. She hesitated a moment before lifting a hoof and knocking on the faded door.

(I'm unsure of what to write, but I guess if it breathes life into this RP... )

Realizing that she was in no immediate danger, Empyrean decided to look around, soaking up the details of their little meeting.

Alicorn, orange coat and mane - are those tattoos? - lost a leg, what happened? Level-headed, cautious, maybe a little tired- tired? Empyrean returned to the world as she realized that she was being spoken to.

"Oh!" Empyrean replied suddenly. "Insomnia? I hate that. Always gets in the way of work, quite frustrating when you're close to making a discovery!-"

Empyrean quickly turned towards the dark yellow stallion, her line of thought breaking down entirely. "A bit more about me? OK, but shouldn't we get into the details of how to overthrow the Terracotta?" her eyes grew a bit wider as she went on. "Battle plans, political ploys, strategies, schemes schemes schemes!..." She paused, considering some potential plans she had in mind. "Perhaps I could help work out the details?"

Before Empyrean could continue her rant, however, two more ponies entered, one much more casually than the other.

"From the way you're attracting ponies I wouldn't be surprised if there's a line!" Empyrean teased absentmindedly, laughing. She paused mid-laugh however, contemplating her words.

"On second thought, that's probably bad," she mused to herself.

((Sorry, internet went down. I'll be more active now that it's been repaired.))

Solar sighed.

"Um, of course. Like I said we should try and see if there are any unicorns we can free from the nearby camp, they can be invaluable to the rebellion."

He tapped his leg nervously. He hadn't anticipated such a large turnout and didn't know if the new ponies could be trusted.

Calm it. You have to keep your head calm and collect. Otherwise you'll start to freak out and we won't be able to function.

I know, but these other ponies all turning up. It seems too coincidental. I don't trust it.

Proceed with the plan as scheduled. That's all you need to do.

"Yes. We need to know who among us has the most powerful magic, and who has other useful skills. Knowing each others strengths, and weaknesses is important. I'll start, I'm an alicorn who sacrificed all his magical abilities, in order to protect a loved one. As a result I had no way to defend myself, and lost a leg. Sorry I can't be more use. I can fly okay, but I guess my only main talent is engineering."

Great, now they know everything about us. If they are spies don't you think this is exactly what they want???

But you sai-

Idiot. Shame on you for being so reckless.

@,

Minath heard Solar put everything out there, so she decided to also.

"My magic is slightly above average, and I can handle a weapon like no other." She said, and then lifted up her cloak to reveal her ash-grey wings. "And my flying is decent also." She lowered her cloak back down to cover her horn and wings once more.

D***, I guess all my chips are on the table. She thought to herself.

"I am an Earth Pony, so magic is out of the question....but that doesn't mean flight is. I have these pair of mechanical wings as you can see here, but they are in major need of repair and modification. So I can fly, but I limited at this point." Orion began to explain as he showed the slightly damaged wings and dented engine on his back.

"I am great with engineering and aeronautics. I have extremely good observational skills that can help me read upon the slightest detail on just about anything. It's kind of a curse though, since it comes with major OCD. I can already tell, by reading all your guy's body language and eye movement, none of you are lying and none of you are really spies."

@,

Solars eyes widened. He had to admit he had never met another alicorn before. It was shocking to say the least.

His mind went straight to a calculation, She was an alicorn with flight, above average magical abilities, and weapon skills. Where as he had no magic, and his only 'weapon' was also his limb. And if it broke, well he was screwed.

@

He turned his attention to the Orion. An inventor with mechanical wings strong enough to lift the heavy body of an earth pony.

Impressive, along with his intuitive skills, he would also be important.

"Sorry if I'm hesitant to believe you, Orion. But if you were a spy, you wouldn't exactly be jumping at the opportunity to tell us you were."

The tables had turned. Solar was far from the strongest among them, and to think the amount of newcomers now rivaled the amount of original attendees, if it was a trap he didn't really like the odds.

@,

Minath saw Solar's eyes widen, and a few moments later assumed it dawned on him how screwed they'd be if the newcomers weren't really members of a resistance. She made eye contact and tried to send a message.

I notice it to. if push comes to shove, I'll have your back. Us alicorns need to stick together, huh?

Orion nodded respectfully. "Understandable sir. I've dealt with a few spies myself in the past. I understand your hesitation. Anyways, I've be happy to serve in anyway I can. In fact, I can also be a look out for you, in case any one around here does something or even appears the slightest suspicious."

Orion then looked back at his wings. He saw that they couldn't last for that much longer.

"I'm really going to need some time to repair this.."

Solar nodded at Minath. He knew he could trust her, he had too, she would be a dangerous and problematic person to have as an enemy. He smiled and turned back to Orion.

@

"Very well, although I feel you should know I'm not the leader of this little party, to be honest I've never actually met the person who pulls the strings of the rebel operation. My guess is it was his/her doing that brought you all to this place."

He smiled even wider in the most polite way he could.

"Or you could be here trying to kill us, one of the two."

Ghaoth shrugged. "I don't know how much help I'll be in a fight, but my parents were both soldiers so I guess it's in my blood. I can fly as well as anypony I know, and even though I can't use magic myself, my teacher taught me a great deal about it before he was killed."

Seeing all the members of the group present themselves, Copper found to of them extremely fascinating. The fact that there were not only one but two alicorns here was very fascinating and rare. "I hadn't even expected there to be one in the first place. D*mn, I didn't even know if there were anymore out there. The world seems to be a small place when there are revolutions to be planned" He thought, chuckling to himself.

The second thing that fascinated him was the earth pony that could fly. "That is... AMAZING! An earth pony unlocking the secrets of flight! I have to talk with him later...and our leaders arm is fascinating as well... I wonder how it works..." Things like this always brought forth the curiosity of Copper as he had been deeply interested in machines as a foal and even more now.

Deciding that it was his time in the stage-light, Copper stepped forward so everypony could see him. "Well as you all can see, I'm an earth pony. I might not know any fancy magic or  can fly like a bird but I think I have something you all might find useful..."

"I don't call myself captain for nothing you see, because I am actually the proud owner of one of the few airships that still flies here in Equestria! And I'm offering her, and myself, to you." He said while making(another) bow.

"Beside from that, I have a rather large skill-set you might also find useful. I know a lot about maintaining, repairing and building with machinery, you have to if you want to keep your ship flying, and I can navigate my ship with expertise. Living as a *cough* smuggler *cough* has given me some experience with lock-picking, pick-pocketing, case-cracking and hoof-to-hoof combat to name a few of my talents. "

"I hope I might be of use to you." He said, finishing with lifting his gear-covered hat and pointing it in the direction of the yellow alicorn.

Jam had been keeping quiet throughout the time she had been in the bakery, silently watching the other ponies introduce themselves. She finally felt it was time to say something. "No magic or wings here either, but I am quite strong," she pointed to the dagger in front of her, "I'm pretty good with this old thing, too. I hope I can help."

Amber waited for a moment, not getting a response. After shoving some rather gruesome thoughts of what could go wrong out her mind, she put on a brave face and pushed the sagging door open. Inside was a large group of ponies gathered around a large object obscured by the crowd.

"Hey, I hate to interrupt your party and all, but I could use some directions and you lot are the first sane ponies I've seen since I've been stuck in this hellhole," 'that's assuming you all are sane' she added silently. "Uh, I mean it's not that bad of a place, but it could use a little work... Or a lot." 'Oh great, you meet a gang of armed and possibly hostile ponies and the first thing you do is insult their home, real smart me.' Amber smiled sheepishly.

(Sorry, computer has been barely functional so I had to play technician. It went out on me last night, so I'm on a laptop currently.)

Stimuli, stimuli! So much stimuli! Empyrean thought, not sure whether to be overloaded or overjoyed by the high turnout. Trying her best to analyze her situation, she realized that yet another newcomer had entered, this time without the intent to join. Turning to the newcomer, she could feel her wings begin to flare. Though unable to stop them from opening, she compelled them to return to their closed state. This mare was attractive, yes, however there were more pressing concerns at hand. Even if the mare wasn't in league with the Terracotta, she understood that the less who knew of their existence, the better.

"Directions to where, and to whom am I speaking?" she said, feeling her paranoia return. She knew what the Terracotta did to those who rebelled. Dying here would be a mercy. But it was not satisfactory. She had so much to do, so many to avenge. Her untimely death would be merciful, yes, but it would be... Inefficient.
