Iron Shield 88 July 3, 2013 Share July 3, 2013 (edited) Howdy! I'm Iron Shield. Today I decided to browse some forums and joined this one to do some exploring, to get out of the same old internet "fort" of mine for a change, expand my horizons. Iron Shield is a name I came up with Skyrim and Friendship is Magic in mind. It, shall we say, "echoes" my real name. My first real name's meaning is "Strong Leader" and with thought I came up with "Iron" as it is firm and strong. My last name means "Home Protector", and with thought I came up with "Shield" and so Iron Shield was born. Anyway, I've been a fan of Friendship is Magic since August of 2011, and still going strong. The idea started when I put my real name into a pony name calculator. My result was "Prince Thorn". While the thought of being an earth pony of royalty was pretty darn sweet, royalty implies giving up the black cowboy hat (being fancy and that), which I go nowhere without in real life. And with the process mentioned in my first post, Iron Shield came to be. Yep, I turned down a life of royalty and luxury for that of adventure and sweat. To answer the one question, no, I don't have an OC yet (Role Playing thing I assume?). While I have done some in my own individual imagination, I don't really plan on anything more than that, at least at this moment. @ Fredbermudez and Pegasus Device - Thanks guys.
