We're on a boat!

Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are on a boat and, it's goin' fast and, they're wearin' nautical-themed pashmina afghans.

 

Just playing around with vectors again. Always wanted to do this scene as I think it's one of the cutest scenes in all of MLP. Finally did proper eyes. They're every bit as big a bitch to vector as I thought, but nothing I can't get the hang of in time. I'm very pleased with this overall. Downloadable is in my DA page, in case anypony wants to put Sweetie and Scoot on a boat somewhere.

 

 

P.S. before anyone mentions it, I know that Sweetie's hat is going over her mane in a weird way. It was like that on the actual screenshot, and when I noticed I had already finished her mane. I thought about fixing it, but then I'd have to do her whole mane over again so I said "buck it" and left it alone.

No excuse for being tardy

Any way looks pretty good, probably spot on to the screenshot, but that's never stopped me...

-Scoot's earfold should be showing

-ditto for the base of Sweetie's horn

-Sweetie's forelegs look a bit too thick towards the hooves

-the boat could use a bit more white

Yeah, I gotta admit I was being lazy, heh. Though today I decided that it was bugging me way too much, and so I did go back and fix Sweetie's mane (thankfully was able to do it without redoing the whole mane after all).

 

The rest, while it would no doubt look better, I'll probably leave as the screenshot was, mostly because while I will sometimes fix small glitches in the screenshot, I prefer to keep it accurate (unless I'm modifying it to depict something/pony else, then I'd go all out on it).

 

Though adding in Scoot's ear fold and Sweetie's horn would really not be difficult at all and would look better... Hmmm, I might just do that after all.
