Journey of the Spark discussion (fan film)

So like, there's a fan movie being made which is actually looking kind of nice. It's called Journey of the Spark, if you couldn't read the glorious little chat title. The release date is 2015 and they said the running time is around 2 hours.

 

I'm not gonna bother getting too in depth with the storyline but basically Discord's back and he destroyed the elements of harmony blah blah blah. It's a little bit darker than your average pony project and looks waaaay better animated than double rainboom (although seriously I will admit that the little teaser thing they showed at pon3con needed some work to it.)

 

I'm going to be a stink and come out and actually admit that most fan projects don't pique my interests. Like, there are probably at the very least 10 other two hour long pony fan films in the making right now. So really, I don't care about that aspect of OMG IT'S A LONG PONY FILM like a lot of people currently are. What gets me very interested in this is the fact that it doesn't seem bad at all and actually seems like it will be a great film all around. I am looking forward to seeing this once it's completed.

It's pretty exciting, right?
