"This darn tent is way too hot for me to sleep in" Thunder murred in himself, "i'm going outside.

 

As he opens the tent and walked out he sat down near the fire, sitting there and staring at it. Not saying a single word, not moving a single muscle. Emotionlessly.

"Thank you." She walks up to Thunders bad wing and begins to bandage it. "Now don't move it for a minute while I do this." After a few minutes, re-dos, and swears later Charcoal finishes bandageing Thunder's wing. "Alright, there. Now just don't use that wing for a few days and if it is just a sprain it should be good as new. Now I better not see you use this wing before hoof, or else I will have to break the other one to be sure you don't leave the ground." Edited August 4, 2013 by Charcoal Embers

"Oh... Okay... Well thank you." Thunder said "But now that i can't fly, i'm worthless."

Thunder stood up and walked back to his tent, face down, tears started appearing from the cornor of his eyes.

 

As he laid in the tent he went to sleep, snoring as loud as normal.

*sigh* Charcoal walks over to where applebloom is sitting and sits down next to her. "So, Applebloom right? So what's your story? No offence but you seem to be a little young to me. But then again I wasn't much younger than you when I first killed somepony so..." charcoal shrugs.

"We'll when the incineration took place I was in a safe house the plan was to wait for my Granny. But she never came for me. It was till later that I. Started to wonder around with Sweetie belle. We didn't have much food or shelter. Eventually I was woken up by AppleJack and I embraced her. I don't know how they foun us near the cave but that's how I came to be here." Apple Bloom said out of breath from telling her long story.

He opens the tent to let ome fresh air in, then he smelled a smell he hasn't smelled in a long time.

He then walked over to Charcoal and Applebloom and said "Hey, doc? Could you come with me please?"

 

 

 

 

*Sigh* Charcoal turns around and gives Thunder her half glare. "What is it you want, did you hurt your wing again? I'm not going to fix it if you are just going to turn around and mess it up again." She gets up and walks over to Thunder. "And by the way, my name is Charcoal not doc. And I'm not even a doctor."

Rock heard someone mention doctor. He sheepishly stood up and kissed a sleeping Sarah in his tent. He went outside and saw the conversation going on amongst the other ponies.

 

"Did someone call for a doctor?" He yawned "I'm fully licensed one, what's the problem?"

"No it's ok rock. This guy here just mess up his wing while you were asleep so I patched it up for him. Then he was going to ask me something but he also thought I was a doctor. So I told him I wasn't and then you woke up and here we are now." After that long explanation Charcoal takes a deep breath. "So is sarah ok?"

Rock gives a long sigh "To be honest, I don't know. It's too early to tell if the baby is... healthy. With the torture she received from Francis, anything can go wrong with the pregnancy"

 

He sat down near the fire.

 

"Now that I think about it, I haven't handled a childbirth at all in my entire doctor career"

She walks up to the seat next to Rock and sits down in it. "Hey, it'll be alright. I'm sure everything will be fine." She begins to rub Rocks back softly. I sure hope Sarah doesn't come out and see this. With the hormones from pregnancy she might get violent. "Now I do have to ask. Do you have a way to see if his wing is broken. Without an X-ray, I can't tell."

Rock felt comforted by Charcoal. He shot her a quick smile before focusing on the question.

 

"I can't really tell if the wing is broken either... unless..." He thinks for a minute "Do you think that tiny little unicorn... Sweetie Belle I think her name was... Knows an X-ray spell?"

Apple Bloom passed out from being extremely tired the time was [ 5:35AM ].

She was almost up all through the night.

 

Sarah woke up and looked around at her surroundings. Then her eye lids got heavy and she was out again.

Besides the conversations that took place around the Fire Pit it was relatively quiet. Spike still patrolling the camp with his rifle.

Bic Mac woke up and when he stepped out of his tent he bore a Mining Pickaxe. It was obvious what he was trying to achieve. He nodded a good morning to the pony's surrounding the Fire Pit. and headed towards the Lake. He found a small spot nearby and started to pick at the ground.

 

Spike put his rifle on the ground and leaned on it standing up. he wiped some sweat off his face. reached into his satchel and ate some of his Gems that he has stashed. He would glance around looking here and there. happy that Francis hasn't found them yet.

 

Big Mac was still swinging away at the ground. Eventually he found a Gem. and kept digging.

 

Pinkie Pie awoke and noticed all the Talking ponies and saw Charcoal putter her hoof on Rock's back. She shouldn't ever do that! EVER! She thought baring a frown. Then the thought of somepony noticing her face emotion she quickly changed back to a smile. and took a deep breath. She went over with a spade and started to help Big Mac finish whatever it was he was doing.

 

"Well I'm Scootaloo" She replied.

"I'm Sweetie Belle!" She replied.

"and, I'm Pinkie D Pie!" Pinkie replied.

"Not sure, I know about as much as you do about all these ponies. Probley less though, since you seem to know some of them." She gets up from where she is sitting. "Anyway I beter go see what he wants." She starts walking then stops for a moment and turns around to walk back to the weapons she brought. "I think I'll bring a knife, just in case." Charcoal then walks to the tent and enters.

Rock saw Charcoal trot off, he turned his attention back to the fire.

 

It seemed to be going out. Rock reached for a log but Fluttershy beat him to it. She threw it onto the fire. She blushed when she noticed Rock look at her.

 

Rock ignored it and looked around him. He could see Rainbow sleeping still, the CmC talking amongst themselves and Pinkie entertaining herself.

"You seem like one i can trust, and i have something to tell, but you need to keep it a secret, kapish? I am not here to spy on you, like i already said, i did know the Francis you were talking about, i escaped from The Fort." Thunder said in a rushed voice.

"I know this make it only harder to trust me but, this is the last group i'm going for. If these ponies won't accept me, i have nowhere to go."

Sarah woke up again. She was sweating. oh...It was only a nightmare... She thought. She tried to stand but she noticed her stomach has gotten even more extended. It was getting hard for her to stand. Great! she thought. Now It's hard to get out of bed. Sarah stumbled trying to get out of the tent. She eventually got out. and saw Charcoal sitting very close to Rock then trot off. She didn't get mad at all. She stumbled over to some part of the ground and laid down. Oi... she thought.

 

Spike finally finished with his Patrol. He finished eating the Gem he was nibbling on. and sat down. he got out of his satchel some cleaner. and started to clean the inside part of his gun to make sure the barrel was working properly. Nothing's better then checking your gear! He thought. He noticed Sarah stumbling out of her tent. Saw that one coming. he thought.

 

Spike then picked his teeth with one of his claws. Dang jewels leave so much decay. Spike pulled out some water from a vial he stored in his satchel and took a swig. "ahh" he said quietly. Well I feel good. he thought.

 

Spike remained sitting in that one spot not too far from the camp. He managed to get a Log to where he was sitting and sat down on it. He also had a hammer from his satchel. and from what Logs that were medium sized and easy to carry he was starting to build a barracked fence around the camp. This should keep mutants at bay. He thought.

He suddenly paused and looked at Sarah.

'Is that belly getting bigger?' he thought to himself 'Nah, you're imagining things Rock'

 

He sat next to Sarah "Is there anything you need? I know that sometimes pregnant mares can get cravings for weird types of food"

And the lat group i'm going for ment,'i've been looking for so many groups now that i grew tired of it, i told myself this would be the last group i'd try to get involved in and if it doesn't work out, i'll go back to the fort and see what Francis will do to me." Thunder said, looking at Charcoal. Then he started waling away and said, while he winked at her "And i am armed"

"Wh-what beautiful?" From hearing that she grows a blush. Wait hang on, focus, don't let him distract you. Shakeing her head she faces Thunder again. *Sigh* "Alright, I'll give you one chance. But hurt anyone and I will personally be sure to make you can never rest again. Oh and I guess we had the same idea, I'm armed as well."

Thunder cracked a smile, "Well, a pretty lady who can handle herself, that's even rarer than a pregnant pony these days, and you got both of them in one group. I'm glad you gave me a chance." Thunder said, before he went to sit at the fire where Sarah and Rock were sitting.

Charcoal rolls her eyes at Thunders statement then walks over and sits next to him. "You don't need to call me pretty, we both know that isn't true. And these days it's hard to be surounded by weapons everyday and not learn how to use a few of them. Plus it's a nice hobie when I'm bored."

Charcoal, while blushing profusly, studders. "C-come on y-you can stop lieing now. All I am is... was a blacksmith, there is nothing pretty about that. So if you don't mind I would apreciate it if you would stop lieing to me. Oh and you can take off that armor no... is that armor getting any smaller?"
