"But don't forget that there will be thousands of them and using just cannons isn't going to take care of all of them. Some of them are going to get through, these guards are nothing to sneeze at. So if it gets down to it just tell them that the chest and back areas aren't worth shit with most weapons so more towards the neck and legs is where they should aim."

"But what you were saying earlier is right, some will get through. Therefor every guard is euipped with an rifle, for medium to long distance, and a shotgun for short distance."

"But what you were saying earlier is right, some will get through. Therefor every guard is euipped with an rifle, for medium to long distance, and a shotgun for short distance."

"I never said that it is a weak point. The leg plates and the plates around the neck are just not as thick as the armour around the head and body to allow better movement and allows blood to flow freely thus it is easier to punch through. Since the armour is plated in a lot of places to allow the pony to be able to move if you can get a hook or something under a plate you may be able to rip it off with enough force, but no one pony can do it you would need several. And now for the weapons, since he is trying to take over everything he will be using his best. So don't be surprised to see a few magic guns and swords out there. Charcoal turns around to the stallion standing closest to her and points to him. "Alright you. I'm going to need chalk, a crystal, as many gems as you can get me and whatever armour and weapons you want me to enchant and bring them to me right in this spot. Put the armour and weapons in a big pile and give me the rest of what I asked for, now move!"

Thunder walked around, giving ponies orders and checking their weapons and equipment. Saying where thing hould be, where weapons should be placed, and telling ponies to move the AP guns further backwards. Then he returned to Charcoal in the control tower. "Hey honey." He said as he walked past her, then he looked out the window, only to see the Legion coming closer. "It's time."

Saying where thing hould be, where weapons should be placed, and telling ponies to move the AP guns further backwards. Then he returned to Charcoal in the control tower. "Hey honey." He said as he walked past her, then he looked out the window, only to see the Legion coming closer. "It's time."

Charcoal hadn't heard what Thunder had said as he passes, she was to busy concentrating on enchanting the pile of weapons and armour in front of her. Beads of sweat had started to form as this goes on for a few minutes, all the magic she was both taking from the small amount inside her and the magic from the crystals. If this went on for much longer she wouldn't be conscious for very long.

Thunder walked up to Charcoal and put his hoof on her shoulder. "It's time. They're here." A clash of lightning appeared when Thunder said that. The sound of thousands of soldiers screaming and yelling gave Thunder the creeps. "FIRE" He shouted, and not much after an array of load bangs appeared and the first shots were fired.

Thunder walked up to Charcoal and put his hoof on her shoulder. "It's time. They're here." A clash of lightning appeared when Thunder said that. The sound of thousands of soldiers screaming and yelling gave Thunder the creeps. "FIRE" He shouted, and not much after an array of load bangs appeared and the first shots were fired.

As Thunder put a hoof on her shoulder the surprise caused Charcoal to lose her concentration and the magic to implode on itself and knock Charcoal back against a wall with an unsettling small crack. Charcoal was to focused on checking the armour to notice the pain at the moment though. "Sigh, looks like that is all I'll be able to get for now. I got about 3/4 of everything in this pile enchanted with a bit of magic protection. It won't help against bullets or swords any better than normal but the magic in them should weaken greatly. As Charcoal begins to walk up to see what is happening she begins to notice that something isn't right with her left hindleg.

Thunder said as he set up a sniper rifle for Charcoal. Then he kissed her and ran off to the front lines. "Defend your positions my brothers!" He said.

"No... No... No no no no no. You're not walking right. Shit. SOMEPONY, GET A SNIPER RIFLE! Just sit here and aim, you know how a gun works, i believe in you." Thunder said as he set up a sniper rifle for Charcoal. Then he kissed her and ran off to the front lines. "Defend your positions my brothers!" He said.

"This is a damn good sniper rifle here." Charcoal says to herself as she takes aim and holds the trigger with one of her wings. "Now let's just see if I am as good of a shot as I used to be." Lining up the crosshairs she pulls the trigger and blows the head off of the guard she was aiming for. "Damit, quarter of an inch to far to the right." She begins lining up more shots with the gun and continues firing, blowing the heads off most guards she aims at.

Thunder held his hoof on a Bavik that came to close and blew his head off. "I'm here to kick ass and chew bubblegum... And i'm all out of gum." He says, firing more shots at more Baviks. He waves at Charcoal, hoping she would have him in her sight, but he didn't see the Bavik behind him.

Still shooting more of the enemies charcoal notices Thunder waving at her at the corner of her sight. She turns to looks at him only to see a guard coming up behind him. Panicing she takes a quick shot at the guard. Missing his head she had just shot the knee of the guard. She just hopes that it will distract the guard for a few seconds.

Charcoal was still shooting ponies left and right, but she was also keeping an eye on Thunder just incase. As she was firing she noticed that it was starting to get a little brighter. Looking without the scope Charcoal was horrified to see a mortar aimed directly at her. She had enough time to jump away from the direct hit, but the blast knocked her against the wall and the next thing she knows she is hanging for dear life off the edge.

Thunder saw an explosion coming from the control tower "CHARCOAL". He ran to the tower and when he arrived he saw Charcoal lying down. There was blood everywhere. "Char. Please, stay with me, we're gonna get a medic, and you'll be alright. I promise." Thunder took her on his shoulders.

*cough* Charcoal was still conscious but was in bad shape, coughing up blood usually isn't good. "The way I see it, as long as I keep getting hurt the universe will let one less pony get hurt. Only thing is it hurts so much Thunder. *cough*" Charcoal remains awake, for she is in too much pain to do otherwise.

Thunder carries her to the field medic and returned to the battle.

 

Not much later he got back at the field medic. This time he wasn't concious. He was badly wounded. "Multiple shots in the chest and leg." The medic murmered to himself before attending Charcoal.

Charcoal had woken up much later. How much later she wasn't sure. She tries to get up but her whole body screams in pain so she just lays her head back down. Seeing the doctor working on something she decides to try and converse. "So doc, how bad am I?" She asks the doctor.

"What friend? The only pony I know here is..." That is when Charcoal noticed that Thunder was sitting at the table next to her, unconscious and in really bad condition. "THUNDER NO!" Despite the pain Charcoal got up off the table and ran to Thunders side crying her eyes out. "Thunder please stay with me! Thunder please speak to me!" Charcoal had begun to shake violently and had also begun to shake Thunder in an attempt to wake him up.

Thunder didn't wake up. Nor had he any notice of Charcoals doings.

 

The medic turned to Charcoal. "Knock it off! You'll only make his situation worse. Please remain on your table." The doctor led Charcoal to her table. "Rest some, i'll see what i can do for your friend."
