"Of course i worry, you're pregnant carrying our foal!" Thunder walked to the kitchen and asked Charcoal: "Would you like something to eat?" As he poured him and Charcoal a drink and returned with two glasses and put them on the table in front of the couch.

"If you could, could you make me a sandwich with cheese, green apple slices and mayonnaise? I'm not that hungry right now so that is all I would like to eat, though I would also like some lemon juice to drink please." Charcoal closes her eyes and rests her head on her hoofs.

"Sure honey, i'll get it for you." THunder walks off to the kitchen and made the sandwich and poured the lemon juice. Then he returned with the food and drink and put them on the table. "Here you go honey, like you ordered." Then he proceeds to sit in a chair and takes a couple of sips from his drink.

 

Absolutely nothing is going to happen for a while so I'm gonna skip forward again to after the birth.

 

Laying in the hospital bed, Charcoal finally done with labor, just sits there with her new born foal in her hoofs. "Sigh, it is finally over." Holding her foal close to her Charcoal lays her head down to get some sleep, even though she knows Thunder will want to talk to her soon.

Thunder was waiting outside the room, then a nurse came and told him he could see the newborn foal.

He walked into the room and picked up the foal, shedding a tear from joy. Then he gave the foal to a nurse and kissed Charcoal

Looking up at Thunder Charcoal said: "Yeah I know. It felt like forever but I think it was worth it. *Sigh* We are going to have to come up with a name now, unless we aren't going to send him to school or daycare or anything like that. Though you will probably do most of the work on that."

"I think it is an excellent name for him. It has been almost a year since we were last attacked by Francis, I know it is a good thing but the worry is starting to chip away at me. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if anything happened to you or lightening."

"Don't worry about Francis, he won't bother us anymore." Thunder gave Lightning to Charcoal. "He's beautiful."

Once home Thunder had set up the foal room's equipment so Lightning could sleep there.

While Thunder is busy working Charcoal takes a nap on the couch. While sleeping all she can think about is Francis catching them. While asleep she is squirming and kicking from the nightmare she is having.

Thunder wakes Chacoal up after seeing her kick around so much "Are you alright? Did you have a nightmare?" Thunder gave her his glass of water.

Charcoal jerks awake but is comforted by the sight of Thunder with her. "Sigh, it's nothing, just a nightmare. I'll be alright I just need some sleep after all that I went through these past couple of hours. How is Lightnings room coming along, is it going alright I can help if you need it."

"Then, please excuse me while i go outside, this may take a few hours." Thunder looked at Lightning while putting on his coat and hat. "Later honey" He said, giving Charcoal a kiss. Then he walked out of the door and closed it behind him. He lighted a cigarette.

"Alight, good-bye dear." Charcoal said as Thunder walked out the door. "Alright, now lets get *yawn* started." Charcoal trotts into Lightnings rook and starts getting everything set up and put together to get it working properly. Part way through however Charcoal falls asleep in the middle of working.

Once arrived home he saw Charcoal sleeping on the floor. He picked her up and carried her to bed. "Sleep well sweetheart."

"Hmm, oh hey Thunder." Waking up Charcoal lets out a big yawn and stretches out her legs. "Whew, guess I must have dozed off there for a bit. I don't even remember how much work I got done. But it needs to be finished up." Charcoal gets up and walks off towards Lightnings room but on the way runs into the door frame. "Ow. Ok that is not a door."

"Alright, alright fine if you insist." Charcoal get into bed, takes her glasses off and puts them beside the bed on the nightstand. "So who are these *yawn* ponies who are coming to see... you... zzzzz." Falling asleep mid sentence Charcoal begins to have a dreamless sleep.

Then the ponies arrived, they were both dressed in black suits with a white shirt and a black tie.

"Hello gentlecolts, can i offer you something to drink.

"Yes, i'd like a coffee." Said one of them, the other remained silent.

Thunder made coffee and gave it to the pony.

 

"Here you go. Now for the business offer you told about?"

 

"Yes," The pony replied "i want you to take care of somepony."

 

"Alright, give me a name, face and place." 

 

"Really? That easy? Usually the convincing is the hardest part. Alright, i want you to take of Rico Balboa. Here's his photo. He works at the Valkyrie docks, so you'll probably meet him there. Oh, and bring a gun."

 

"Alright, anything else?"

 

"No," The pony replied "We'll be going now."

 

The pony quickly drank his coffee and then they both went off.

Charcoal wakes up a few hours later, feeling much heterodox than she had before. Stratching and yawning she gets out of bed and walks into the living room. There she finds Thunder sitting on the couch. "Hey Thunder. Did those ponies you were talking about come?"

"Yes they did." Thunder said, washing his hooves, "And look in the suitcase on the table, i've got a surprise in it. I'm sure you'll like it."

Thunder dried his hooves and walked up next to Charcoal and said: "Come on, open it up, open that suitcase, honey"
