Rock just laughed "That's fair enough then, I guess I'm just nervous"

 

He turned around and walked straight into a tree, he saddle bag fell off, it's contents spilling everywhere. In particular, the letter just happened to land right next to Phoenix's foot.

 

Rock looked at the letter and back at Phoenix "Err..." he stammered "You dropped that letter during the battle!" He lied "I found it and was meant to give to you"

 

'Oh discord' Rock cursed

Pheonix looked at the letter. Then chuckled.

"When I was given this letter by a Guard back in the Fort. I was told it wasn't important. Gavin the Squires assistant had read it for me." Pheonix stated. "If its all the same to you, you can keep it." Pheonix said. Pheonix pushed it with his hoof back to him.

Rock quickly regained composure "That's... That's good! Yes!" He felt a huge relief "I guess I shall keep it then!"

 

He quickly picked up his bag and put the letter back in. This time more aware of any trees that would happen to get in his way.

 

"Im content" he said "ready to leave when you are"

Pheonix walked over and picked up @flikka99(HeartSong) "poor mare so tuckered out she can't wake up." Pheonix said as he heard her breathing softly. He found it cute. He put her on his back. Trixie rolled her eyes.

 

Pheonix started to lead the way. "For those going to the Fort..Lets go. Others well good luck!" Pheonix said.

Rock found it quite humorous when Phoenix carried HeartSong, in an innocent way.

 

Feeling more comfortable now that they were heading home, Rock decided to chat up Trixie, feeling that she might not actually be a threat.

 

"Nice moves yesterday" Rock complimented "You fight monsters often?"

Trixie gave a bizarre look towards Rock Thatcher. "No. I usually just train with ponies." Trixie said.

"I usually train in bed." Trixie said.

 

Pheonix heard what Trixie said and stopped walking. His facial expression was similar to this. O_O

 

"I'm not too social of a pony." Trixie said.

"There's not ever really anything to talk about." She snapped. Trixie apparently had makeup on.

 

Oh.. Dear Celestia Pheonix thought when he looked back and noticed.

When Rock heard Trixie say

"I usually train in bed." Trixie said.

 

  His wings hardened. He tightened his saddle bag around his body to make this seem less obvious. Once his blushing faded, he continued the conversation.

 

"I'm not really too social either" Rock shrugged "But at least that is something we have in common" He smiled

Trixie noticed what Rock's wings did slightly.

She kept looking forward and grinned slightly, she started walking at the same speed as Rock. She replied "Doctors also don't get out much. You're in your office all the time I presume." Trixie said.

 

She got closer to Rock. "I'll make you shine." She whispered. Then she blew on his ear.

 

"Hey! No whispering back there." Pheonix demanded.

 

Trixie moved away from Rock and kept moving forward.

'You like her' Rock thought

"No I don't" He told himself

'Liar'

 

"Although..." Rock caught a glimpse of Trixie "I do like a pony with a nice plot"

 

'You realize you said that out loud?'

"Wait, I did?" Rock slapped a hoof over his mouth, this was becoming too much of a habit. Being such an isolated pony often meant he talked to himself, yet he failed to stop this from happening when he was with others.

Trixie heard what Rock said. And smiled but kept walking forward.

 

Pheonix looked emotionally distressed.

 

Trixie backed up a little and got next to Rock and whispered. "If you want it. Who's stopping you?" Then she bit on his ear. And rubbed her muzzle on his neck.

 

Pheonix stopped looking back and stop caring.

"Ugh.." Pheonix said

 

Trixie got extremely close to his ear and slightly moaned.

 

Pheonix was starting to look grossed out.

 

Trixie kept walking close to Rock.

 

There was a blow of wind. Rock heard something in his head. Don't have sex with that mare! it was Princess Luna's voice.

A certain memory flashed before Rock's eyes

 

[28 years ago, in the Thatcher residence]

"Papa" A tiny Rock asked "Where do babies come from?"

 

Rock's dad, a serious looking Pegasus answered "Son, when a stallion and mare fall in love, they go shopping and buy a pony. Now let us never speak of this again"

Rock couldn't help but think his dad was lying to him.

 

Suddenly, Luna's voice echoed in his head.

"Huh?" He gasped

It seemed she was warning him.

 

However, Trixie was very alluring, she seemed to know what strings to pull to make him feel... feel... happy?

He knew he wouldn't be able to resist for long, there was only one thing he could do. He pulled a box of pills from his bag and swallowed one.

 

'There we go' He thought 'These anti-serotonin pills will lower sexual arousal... and give me horrible headaches. But better to be safe than sorry'

Almost instantly, Rock began to feel a migraine come on.

They finally arrived to the Northern Gate. The doors opened an they haven't even knocked. To their surprise 5 ponies where there when the door open. The Squire, Gavin, Francis, Jean, and a regular Guard. Pheonix looked up and noticed them. And smiled "Thanks for controlling everything while I was gone Squire." Pheonix said. The Squire wasn't smiling.

 

Pheonix gave them a weird look. "Is everyth-" Pheonix was kicked in the face by Francis, HeartSong fell off of him and hit the ground hard. Rock was taken down by Trixie extremely quick. He had no time to retaliate.

 

"Funny, it is when things go wrong don't they?" The Squire said. Trixie had put hoof cuffs on Rock. The Squire walked over and reached into his satchel and pulled out the letter. "Ah." The Squire said. Pheonix and HeartSong were cuffed.

Pheonix was put on his knees and so was Rock.

 

"Alright, you promised me money. I want my payment." Trixie said.

"Okay." Francis replied as he pulled out a gun and shot her in the head before she could do anything.

 

"You have disobeyed my rules." The Squire said.

Francis knelt down by Pheonix and cocked his head around to see the Squire. "Your dead. Old man." Francis said. Gavin grabbed the Squire and Jean held a gun at his head.

 

The Squires face expression changed greatly to frightened. "I..I don't want to die!" The Squire said. "Should of thought of that better.. My lord." Jean said as he shot him in the head. His body fell to the ground and blood flowed out of his head.

 

"Pheonix?" Francis said.

 

Pheonix's head was down. And he was extremely mad. He raised his head slowly..."What.." He replied.

 

"You and your doctor friend are going to die." Francis said.

Rock's mouth unhinged "Wha-wha-what in the name of sweet Celestia is going on!"

Threatened with death, seeing a sexy mare betray him then get shot in the head, having Squire executed in front of him... that migraine didn't seem so bothersome now.

 

"I demand an explanation!" Rock shouted "I'm the only doctor here, what do you think is going to happen to this place if you kill me??"

"Shut up!" Gavin said and punched him in the Jaw.

"Pheonix you killed Sarah, and the Captain." Francis said. "And now you've gained nothing from diplomacy." Francis added.

 

A couple that was making out in a corner were watching the scene. The regular Guard looked at them. And held a gun in plain view. They ran for it.

 

Francis was smiling at both of them. "Pheonix we are going to have fun with your little friend mare." Francis said chuckling. Jean walked over and picked her up then walked towards the Stronghold.

 

Francis held his gun up and shot Pheonix in the neck.

 

Pheonix fell back. And was gasping, blood and tears covered his face.

Rock cringed. He stared in horror as Pheonix clutched his wound. He looked at the barrel of the gun. His next few words would decide if he would die right here in this very spot.

 

"O-okay mister..." Rock trembled slightly "I don't know what your game plan is, but I can tell you were very sensitive about Sarah"

Rock quickly spat out an ounce of blood, before continuing.

"I know where her body is!" He lied "I'm the only one who knows, and if you take me out now, you won't be able to recover the body of her or her brother. Is that what you want?"

Pheonix's eyes were open. But no sounds came from him.

"You think I cared about Sarah?" Francis said.

"I LOVED HER!" Francis said smacking Rock.

"And she was a beautiful mare. Yet I wasn't right for her.. Why?? I DON'T KNOW!!" Francis said.

 

"I have the best plan for you." Francis said smiling. Some of his face covered with Pheonix's blood. "Take him to the dungeons with the others he'll like that." Francis said.

 

Gavin picked him up by his left arm. and the Guard got the other side. They dragged him towards the Stronghold. The guards opened the door. And they took him to the left to a wooden door. And there were stairs they dragged him down. Eventually they got to the bottom. There was no light. Gavin opened the door. And rock was thrown in. Rock heard the sounds of them walking up the stairs then eventually closing the door.

"Nutmeg" Rock said "This is just great, just fantastically great"

 

He tried looking around, but all he saw was darkness.

 

"Hey, I'm Phoenix!" Rock impersonated "I'm the leader of the fort, I think I'll put the sensitive guy in charge whilst I'm gone!"

He punched the wall.

 

He sighed "Well, I'm alive, that's one thing. And I'm isolated, so it's not too bad"

Rock blindly felt for the wall, he then leaned against it.

 

"Luna, give me a sign..."

Rock was kissed and the Pony kissing him had very long hair. Then the pony hugged him and kissed his neck. "I'm so glad you're alive." She kissed him again. Then pulled back. "I'm so sorry for kissing you it's just.." she sighed and then he could hear her quietly crying.

Rock quickly wiped his mouth and spat.

"Goodness me! Where are your manners?" Rock yelled

 

He then heard her cry.

'What the...? I wonder how long she's been down here for?'

 

He touched what he assumed to be her shoulder.

"Erm... don't cry, please" He said "I don't think we know each other"

"It's me." When rock heard the voice it rang very hard inside his head and all as sudden it hit him harder then a train. There was a small match lit.

It was Sarah.

 

She got close to him. "Rock!" She said with tears coming out of her eyes. There was silence and the match went out.

"Sweet mother cranberry" He exclaimed "Sarah!"

He embraced her

 

"I thought you died! I thought I would be alone! I thought..." He paused "I think too much" he smiled

He started to cry himself now. This lone moment of happiness was probably all he would get in a situation like this, and he didn't want to let it go.

 

"What are you doing here?"

"Before I died, I was saved by Princess Luna. She gave me over to my father. He went crazy and sent me down here." She kissed him as tears were still falling down her face. "There are others. But they are asleep." She said. "Before I was brought back to life I watched you. And I fell in love with you even more." Sarah said.

Those words hit Rock like a train. Another memory flashed before him.

 

[20 years ago]

"Mother" Rock asked "When can I get a girlfriend?"

His mother, a well dressed earth pony looked at him "Well dear, after you graduate, get a successful job, find a nice house and have a large sum of money in the bank, I'll let you have one"

"Sarah" he stroked her cheek "I'm very very inexperienced with this emotional stuff... I just don't know if I can sustain a relationship... I don't even know how... This works!" He pointed at his groin

Sarah held him for a little. She then kissed him and smiled "I'll teach you." She said softly.

She got close to him. And her wings hardened.

She kissed him. Then pulled back. She had him sit down and she sat in his lap facing him. "Only if you want too." She said. She wiped her tears away. "Don't worry though I'm a virgin." Sarah said.

Rock bit his tongue. He knew the next he would say would end up being stupid. He decided to think this time.

However, his wings went full erect and messed up his train of thought.

 

"O-okay" he swallowed "I'm a virgin too... But a 38 year old one at that" he laughed nervously "W-what do you want me to do?"
