"How about a song? Can you sing?" Caprisha asked, grasping for any idea she could get a hold of. "Or maybe like a giant mural of her, or... this should only be used as a last resort, but if all else fails cut off your wings. It would symbolize that you care enough to remove a big part of yourself."

Thunder looked at Caprisha with a worried look. "Was your horn attached to your brain or something? That is the stupidest idea i have ever heard. I'm not going to cut off my wings, that just goes too far." Thunder said, shocked that Caprisha thinks what he should do.

"Actually yes, a unicorns horn is directly connected to their brain. That is why the smarter unicorns are always the best with magic." Caprisha explained. "And I'm not saying it is something you would have to do, but it would definitely show how dedicated you are to her. But anyway, again, what about singing?"

Caprisha thought for a moment, then she had an idea. "Hey, your a Pegasus. Why don't you move some of the clouds around the apartment to get a few inches of snow. The way things are now we aren't going to get any snow to stick." Caprisha said as she watched the bits of snow fall to the ground.

"Well is there a way to get some clouds with snow in them without making the whether ponies mad at you?" Caprisha asked, not really knowing anything about how the Pegasus community worked. "Or is it possible to make your own snowclouds somehow?" Caprisha asked.

"I don't know how the weather works. In Cloudsdale everypony gets basic education about tbe weather, but only if you go study it you learn how to make clouds. All i could do is move them." Thunder looked at Caprisha. "And that pisses of the weather ponies.

Caprisha gave a long sigh. She was running out of ideas. What else could they do to make Charcoal happy with them? "Do you have any ideas?" Caprisha asked. "Anything at all? Even something you don't think would be very good could lead us to thinking of something that would be good."

Charcoal walked into the hospital again. She still had mixed feelings about the situation, but she was almost entirely sure she had come to a decision. She walked into the room where Caprisha and Thunder were and as expected they were still there now. "Hey." She said in an even voice as Lightning watched from on top of her head.

"Hey." Thunder replied. "I guess you came here to make an decision? Whether you stilllove me or not?" Thunder sighed. "That's a very hard decision, choosing if you love somepony or not. I hoped i never had to make such difficult choices, but reality strikes again."

Charcoal thought for a moment. "I still love you, but..." Charcoal was silent for a moment before resuming. "I did make my decision, I will give you a second chance Thunder. If it was with any other mare than my best friend it would have been different. Besides..." Charcoal reached a hoof to run her belly. "What would I do if Lightning did have a sister and I didn't have somepony to love her with me?"

Thunder looked at Charcoals belly, which was swollen. He walked over to her and gave her a very big hug. "That's great Char." Tears of joy started forming in his eyes. They felt cold as the window was still open, but that didn't matter to Thunder. He liked it.

Charcoal hugged Thunder back and felt tears of her own start to form. "I love you so much Thunder, and I hope we don't need to do something like this again." Charcoal said.

 

Caprisha walked up to the couple. She couldn't help but shed a few tears of her own as she joined the hug herself.

Thunder smiled at Caprisha as he broke away from the hug. "Let's go Char, let's go back home. We'll come see you tomorrow Prish." Thunder said. Then he gave her a small kiss on the nose. Then he took Charcoal and walked out of the door, heading back to the apartment.

Caprisha was a little disappointed that she couldn't come along but she knew those two probably needed some time alone. When they left she walked back over to the bed and tried to sleep again.

 

Charcoal wouldn't let go of Thunder the whole way to the apartment. Once there she opened the door using her key and walked inside, then she wanted to go back out from the smell. "Sorry about the smell." Charcoal said with a little blush.

Charcoal walked to the balcony as well and took Lightning off her head and held him in her hooves as she rested her head on his shoulder. "I'm still sorry. It is my fault it smells so bad in there." Charcoal paused for a moment, then continued on a different topic. "I'm also sorry I caused you so much trouble during my beat cycle."

"I..." Charcoal hesitated before choosing her next words. "Well... as long as you still love me and care for me, I guess I can live with the fact that I'm going to have to share the love with another mare. Just be glad I trust Caprisha, otherwise I never would have agreed to let you keep relations with her."
