Greetings, everyone. I am Cartophile, Carto for short. It was a pleasure of meeting you, whoever is reading this.

 

Wait, what? Too short? Well, what was I supposed to say? It's a "welcoming plaza", after all.

 

Fine.

 

You may call me by, as I explained, Cartophile, or Carto for short. I am also known as TehBbqdPizza or Consonance, whatever you seem fit. I also call myself other, unofficial names, as well as others. Don't get too surprised if I settle on a nickname for some of you.

 

What do I like? I like an array of rather unusual stuff: Chess, poetry, maps, golf, billiards, and science fiction, along with psychological games and books. Oh, and mathematics. My favorite ponies are either the one you will least likely know about, or the ones that are typically hated. The majority of them are Earth ponies.

 

I was a brony since early 2012, a bit before Season 2 ended. What got me into the show was quite simple; I just looked into it and after a few hours of viewing the show I had a sudden liking to it. It's still quite hard to explain. Was it characterization? The suspense? The excitement? I'm still uncertain to this day. But nonetheless, I've did not admit my liking of MLP publicly, not until mid-2012 did I actually join brony communities.

 

Also during that time, I also gained interest in roleplaying. Which is probably why you're seeing me typing so much text now. For more than a year, I had done a good deal of MLP roleplaying, and I will gladly do some RPing on any MLP forum. That is, if you have it. I honestly won't stay if a forum doesn't have a roleplay section. Other "contributions" to the community are quite small, ranging from a minuscule amount of drawings (heck, I don't even have a DeviantArt account) to writing.

 

As for my actual personality, I must say that I am really immature, insensitive, and annoying. I am the extreme opposite of "awesomeness". In fact, I don't like being cool; I rather be some science and math nerd who had just entered high school who sits on the computer all day typing out his "nerdy" roleplaying posts. I have an extreme love for old stuff, especially from the early 20th century. I am more of a realist than an idealist. And I believe that I am an introvert.

Well... I guess that doesn't count for much considering that I am just as new as you are here. Nonetheless I enjoyed reading your litle splurg of information about yourself!
 

I too am very into Science fiction, however I detest mathematics with a passion. Even if I hate math I am very interested in physics!

Maybe sometime (once our noobie status wears off) we'll join an RP together! You sound pretty cool!

Nothing wrong with being a nerd. To be frank, being a nerd is actually awesome. Got that nerd swag, son. And roleplaying is awesome too, and believe me when I say there is a ton of roleplaying on here. I'm sure you'll do just fine in that respect.
