One horribly gloomy morning in Ponyville, as Fluttershy sat at home she was suddenly surprised to find Discord at her door, soaking wet from the rain, tears in his eyes and with a letter in his mouth.
As he sat down to face the wall and think, having not known where else he could have gone, Fluttershy asked him what was wrong.
That's when she saw the letter. She saw the heart. She saw that it was from Discord to Celestia. Discord had liked Celestia all along. In fact, more than liked.
When they were young, Discord and Celestia were actually the best of friends. Discord had actually liked Celestia a bit more than that. But then, of course Discord began taking a liking to chaos. Celestia couldn't allow it. She found it to be her duty to stop him, no matter the cost.
Discord had thought, perhaps now that she had freed him...maybe she missed him as he had missed her.
He was wrong.
"She said no," Discord said quietly.
But Discord couldn't take it anymore. He simply couldn't just sit here and do nothing after she hurt him time and time again. He couldn't just let her get away with it while he got away with nothing.
But...
Fluttershy threw herself at him, throwing her little lemon arms around him. She felt for him. She knew how hard it must be. For them to make you stop everything you love, and never even bother to smile at you, much less love you.
Discord was surprised. More then surprised. Stunned. Stunned to have this tiny thing hugging him so tenderly.
So he hugged her back, enjoying her warmth. Enjoying her love.

As he holds the sweet Pegasus in his arms, Discord opens his eyes to see the letter still sitting there. The letter he poured his heart and soul onto. The one she hadn't even read.
But...now he wonders. Why hadn't he wrote to some other pony? A pony who seemed like she'd would always be there for him? A pony who believed in him despite all the odds? A pony who stood up for him. A pony who cared.
Fluttershy.
As he stares at it, he feels Fluttershy shifting in their embrace and moving away to look up at him. Discord looks down at her.
"Are you okay now?" she smiled adorably.
It was then that Discord realized he was once again hopelessly in love.

Discord quicky tells Fluttershy to wait one moment and flies upstairs to his little room that Fluttershy has set up for him whenever he wanted to stay over. He grabbed a blank piece of paper and a pencil and begins to write.
A while later, Discord comes back down and hoofs the letter to Fluttershy.
Fluttershy takes the letter and begins to read the heartfelt, beautiful words written on it. She couldn't help but giggle slightly.
Discord was horribly surprised that the element of kindness didn't take it seriously. He smiles back at her falsely as he turns away, feeling his heart shatter in his chest for the second time that day.
So. No pony loved him. No pony ever would. He should have known. No pony could ever love a monster.
"Discord!"
Discord opened his red and yellow eyes and angrily turned back to the pony he thought would understand. He gasped as she threw herself at him a second time, telling him that she loved him.

Somepony does love him. He isn't alone.
He doesn't have to be alone anymore.

Oh, sweet kindness.

I actually got really bored one day, and drew the first panel, thinking to make a sort little comic. And boom! it ends up as this three parter! Fine by me!
I always enjoy drawing these two. Their adorable.
Never takes me long to do anything. I drew the first part in two days and finished the rest in one day.  Took me another day to scan it up and arrange it in paint.
Anyway, enjoy!

Notes:

Celestia is not a jerk. Of course not. Princess Celestia simply could not accept his request for her to become his special somepony because she hasn't those feelings for him.
Would it have been better for her to lie?

And also, nothing is happening in the third one.
Stupid xD

Yes.  I usually am quite fast when drawing or writing and either make few mistakes or make the whole thing a mistake xD
