Would Wolfras be in My Little Pony?

For my fanfic, the ponies meet a race of colourful wolves called Wolfras (the word Guardians is overused) who can think,feel and talk like humans. The Wolfras are omnivores which means they can eat other foods as well as meat. The fanfic is based on the conflicts the ponies and Wolfras face, eventually the Wolfras make their own land in Equestria and both ponies and Wolfras promise that the ponies will give them meat in return with the Wolfras being their friends and protect the ponies from danger.

 

My question is; would my characters I've created, the Wolfras be good characters in the show? I had the idea that the Wolfras speak in British accents and that they came from another land, so do you think the Wolfras can work?

I think it would be interesting. By another land , it means they come from outside of Equestria similar to the Zebras and Griffons.

 

It just adds the history of their race because we have no idea how they came to be and how they got to where they are today.

 

I especially like the idea of ponies that eat meat. Wonder how other vegetarian ponies would take it.
