I need help with ideas for a MLP costume for Halloween 2013

Hello there I don't know if this is the right place for this topic but If yes then, I wanted to make a my little pony costume or cosplay for this up-coming Halloween just to walk around my local area and maybe just go up to a few houses, my ideas were either a costume/cosplay of RD or Luna. I need some ideas or ways on how to accomplish this.

If your going to make it yourself and don't know where to start I would suggest reference images. See how other people have taken them from a pony to a cosplayable character. If you aren't making it personally I have no idea where online to buy pony cosplay but from most of the cosplay I've seen you should be able to put one together pretty easily once you have a good idea in your head. It'd probably be more expensive for Luna though as her costume would demand alot more sophistication and more of a royal look to it rather than Rainbow Dash with more of a sporty tomboyish look (least from what I've seen). Check around deviant art, it's generally always a great source of inspiration

if the costume is for halloween then i would definately go for luna. i mean, she even had her own halloween episode! (nightmare night)

and if you need help with the costume then i would search for cosplayers on the forum. they have a lot of experience with stuff like this and they can definately help you out. i hope you can pull this off. very nice idea man! :3

It would probably be much easier to find things for RD, you basically need a rainbow wig, blue wings, and a sporty blue outfit. 

 

Here's a simple RD cosplay that I found. 

 

 

 

 

 

Princess Luna would be a little more difficult, since she's a Princess.

 

You'd basically need a flowy blue dress, one which matches Luna's coloring. Some wings as well, but the horn is optional since a person with a horn would look rather strange. And don't forget the blue hair and crown!
