BassClef's Lament - DJ BassClef (Ft. Vinyl Scratch) [PMV]

Heyo everypony! I'm back with my newest project. This song/video is the culmination of over 30 hours of work spread throughout the past week. By far the most effort I've ever put into a piece, so I hope it will satisfy.

 

Before I go any further, I'd like to thank Kaz, or "EllieGouldingIsGod" as he is on the forums for his wonderful VA work, and for the intro video's "BassClef" Logo.

 

Everything else you see in the video was done by me throughout the past week, and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

 

I'm going to embed the video, but first I'll paste the description into spoilers for you all to see.

First of all, I'd like to give a huge thanks to my biggest supporter and a very nice voice actor in this project, Kaz!

 

Thank you man, this wouldn't exist without you.

 

Secondly, I'd like to thank the wonderful Rina-chan for the vocal samples of Vinyl in this piece. You're an excellent Vinyl, Rina.

 

Lastly, I'd like to thank you, the listener, for giving me the support of simply hearing what I have to put out.

 

This song is the culmination of a total of 30 hours of work spread over the course of about a week, from initial composition to final video rendering, so enjoy!

 

Personal Suggestion: Use headphones for full experience, unless you have good speakers, and for the love of Luna, crank the volume up and let the wubs fly!

This song is about a DJ who's had his time in the spotlight, but now his career has crumbled, as people simply don't like his music anymore. His roommate tells him he needs to give up and find a new career, but he arrogantly refuses. In the end, though, we find that he truly only makes music because it's what he was born to do, and even if he's not topping the charts, he still loves what he does.

I may end up uploading more tracks to youtube, but I'm not sure I will for 8-Bit Game, as I would like to keep it to full length tracks. :S

 

Unless of course, I go back and extend 8-Bit Game into a full track
