My signature is too big?

I just made a new signature and tried using it but it said it was too big. I've seen users with far bigger signatures then mine. Why is it not working?

Your signature can't be more than 600px x 100px

The one that you're trying to use is 550px x 120px

Basically, it just needs to be shorter

The maximum image size for signatures is 600x100, and yours is 550x120.

 

Donors get slightly larger limits at 600x200, which explains the bigger ones you've seen. :3

The issue will be that it's too tall - as a non-subscriber and non-donor, images are restricted to 100 pixels in height, where yours is 120px. The larger signature images you see will be of current subscribers and donors, who can have images with height up to 200px.

The resolution is 550x120. I think that unless you donate or subscribe to the site, you're limited to 600x100 for signatures. Donating or subscribing nets you 600x200 however.

As everyone above has explained, the issue is, as a non-donor your signature can only be 100 pixels tall and 600 wide. An extra hundred pixels tall is granted to you if you donate to the site.
