Would Your OC join me in looting the Palace of the Moon?

The Moon Palace. It is the ruin that held the Elements of Harmony in Episode 1 and 2. The Palace was originally the seat of govt where Luna and Celestia ruled after the defeat of Discord. It was abandoned shortly after Celestia exiled Luna to the moon.

There is no Cannon as to why it was abandoned. Nor do we know if it was evacuated in haste or over a period of years. What we do know was the Everfree forest grew up around the castle, and the area is intensely magical. Intense enough to manipulate the weather on it's own, and to affect the flora and fauna with magically enhanced evolution.

---Dangers aside, there is a good likelihood of serious plunder to be had.

Ponyville is not a good base of operations for several reasons.

1) There is a chasm to cross, with just an old rope bridge... Decaying rope bridges are not very good when you are weighed down with gold.

2) It may not be legal to enter the ruins. I'm not aware of any law that says you can't, but this is a case where it is better to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

3) A princess lives in Ponyville. She's pretty smart, and just might figure out what we are doing and blab...or worse yet, lecture us. I hate being lectured!

The means the best approach to the Moon Palace is from the north. We will have to set up a base camp, and haul a few wagons back and forth. A little hard work is a small price to pay for getting RICH!
