How do I fashionista? (help writing out Rarity?)

So, as I'm quite new, and not entirely close to any pony yet, nobody really knows about my MLP experience. I'll admit, I haven't seen every episode, I skipped a bunch, I haven't even seen princess Twilight yet, etc. I mainly just get attached to a pony and watch every episode they're in. I already went through my Braeburn phase, Big Mac phase, I think(???) I'm in my Zecora phase now? How I got from country folk to witch doctors I don't even know.

 

ANYWHO

 

I'm looking to write a fanfic that involves Roulette, Siberia(His sister, and also my friend's ponysona), The mane six, and a few others. (Most likely Shining Armor, Crystal ponies, Cadence, possibly Luna and Celestia, idk, pottage will happen at its own pace.) However, I am turning to you guys to help me! 

 

Current question: 

 

What are Rarity's limits? I mean, obviously, fashion, unmanly princes, and bad mane days are there, but what is something that would really make her snap at somepony? And would it be enough to set Twilight, Shining or Cadence off as well, making one of them have a stern conversation with Rarity? 

 

Example:

 

Rarity: These outfits are horrendous! (wearing thermal jacket, tattered scarf, etc)

Somepony(Most likely Roulette, he doesn't understand fashion, or clothes): But they will keep you warm, you have to wear clothes. 

 

Rarity: Something about them being a disaster, omg fashion crisis, wtf

 

Roulette: (confused) If you are worried about your look, you look beautiful already, you don't need to--

 

Rarity: BEAUTIFUL I LOOK HORRIBLE IN THIS (insert more ranting) YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING (insert more ranting) ARE YOU HITTING ON ME DEAR CELESTIA WHAT ID WRONG WITH YOU (more ranting)

 

 

I really don't know, she's so... Out of my realm. I mean, I've written up insane/mentally unstable Eladrin sorcerers(Actually my 4th ed D&D character, eheheheh... FIRE BELONGS EVERYWHERE :DD), Russian ponies, centaurs, andorians(34 to be exact), I've played Big Mac, Braeburn, and AJ before... She's just so... Not me XP
