You walk to the docks after finding a kingdom flyer about a new island in the Eastern seas. This island has been selected for colonization. So, you figure that you hop on a ship for a few days and build a settlement. You're at the docks looking directly at the ship that you need to board to join the team of colonists.

Hearthsong steps his hoof forward and onto the boat with Isabelle sitting on his back as he walks up the ramp. "Ah might as well be crazy for doin' this."

Hearth looks over at Blue and Aura. He mumbles to himself. "New land ripe fer the takin'. We could build a new home Isabelle."

 

Isabelle stands on Hearths hat and shouts. "Daddy look, ocean!"

 

Hearth carries her to a guard rail on the boat to see better. "It sure is beautiful."

 

He thinks yo himself 'Is it weird I brought mah musket?'

Hearth looks at Aura and Blue. "Ain't nothin' but a couple of kiddies." He waves his gives at them towards himself. "Hey, come on over 'ere!" He shouts.

 

"Who're they daddy?" asks Isabelle

 

"Hopin' t' find out." Hearth says stepping towards the unfamiliar ponies across the boat.

Blue walked over to the pony that was waving at them. "Hello it's nice to m-" "Who the buck are you" Aura interrupted as Blue hitted her on the head. "Soory for my friends attitude she doent like talking to other ponies and when she does she acts really rude" Blue said apologizing for Aura

"Wasn't my idea it was mostly hers" Aura said as she pointed her hoof at blue. "Well I though it would be fun besides its an empty island that we can make a settlement on just like the first pony colonist" Blue said smiling. "Yeah well be sure there isnt going to be any problem...or you get your self in trouble again" Aura added

Looking down at the flyer he held, Aero realized he had reached the ship at which the voyage would begin. It seemed to be a sturdy vessel...but...it was...a ship. Aero breathed in heartily and then sighed as he firmly boarded the vessel with unsure footing. He had never ridden these 'things' before. He knew he could fly but he didn't want to reveal his identity as being a Pegasus. He wanted to fit in with those that his clan... He shook the thought from his head. Pulling up his mock to hide his wings, Aero smiled at the other ponies and courteously nodded.

(Funny cause Blue Sensory is a pegasus)

 

"I been meaning to ask you Blue, Why don't you fly ahead instead of being on the boat" Aura asked. "Well because I don't like flying over seas and I have never been on a boat before" Blue answered as she turned to see another pony. "Hey there you on this boat to see the new island" Blue said to the stallion the just arrived

Aero was startled by the sudden conversation. He had hoped to keep a low profile...maybe if he had arrived later... "I believe so. A new life has it's attractions." Aero smiled, hesitating shortly as he noticed the wings upon Blue. Smiling he spoke again, "I come from a farm not far from here and had hoped to have one to call my own."

"Really...that's interesting anyways my name is Blue Sensory but you can call me blue" Blue said as she smiled back. "My names Aura Shine" Aura said as she came up next to Blue. "Its nice to meet you uh...what's your name" Aura asked as she introduced her self after Blue did

"Aero...my name is Aero." He was about to bow but awkwardly caught himself, recognizing that such courtesies were not necessary anymore. "Pleasure to meet you both. Where do you both hail...er, come from?" He asked curiously, still glancing occasionally at Blue's wings.

"I'm from Cloud scale but then I moved to Ponyville cause I got bored of being there in the empty blue sky filled with clouds" Blue said. "I'm from Canterlot but I left cause my parents kept trying Twi make me act formal so I ran away from them" Aura said as he saw Aero looking at Blues Wings buts keep quiet about it

Hearth sat on the side taking note of this, but keeping quiet about it. "Ah'm Hearthsong, and this is mah daughter Isabelle, Ah was born in Dodge Junction, but she was born in Ponyville." Hearthsong said extending a hoof.

 

"Howdy mister Aero." Isabelle said almost hopping off of Hearthsong's back.

He was about to sympathize with Blue until Isabelle caught him off guard. He almost hadn't seen the other pair of ponies. "Hello. It is good to know we will be having happy company on our voyage...but for me, I need rest. Is there anyplace to sleep upon this ship that any of you ponies are aware of?" He asked awkwardly.

"No not really" Blue said as she thought for a moment. "But I would guess below deck I'm not sure" Blue said gaining a face hoof from Aura. "Yes below deck is a room called Cabins quarters where we can sleep" Aura said as she looked at the sky. "Clear skies...might be a smooth voyage" Aura said

Aero's gaze joined hers as he looked up at the clear sky. It had been a long time since he had flown and he missed it greatly. The muscles behind his wings twitched as they urged him to take flight but Aero persisted. Perhaps at a later time. "I wonder when we will set sail. I...would like to avoid being atop water for too long heh." he said, forcing his eyes from the sky.

"Well I'm heading down deck to got get some rest Aura said as she left. "Sorry about Aura she can be a bit too serious at times but she cool made once she gets some rest since she is really tired" Blue said looking at Sura going down deck. "Also water isn't that bad if you can swim" Blue said

Aero watched Aura went below, "I guess I'll take your word for it and not to worry," he tapped the ground with his hoof, "I've learned to swim to a great extent heheh." Aero guestured towards Blue's wings. "You are a pegasus I see. What brings you and the earth-po...er, Aura to settle the land beyond?"

"Also why do ask something like that anyways I find the ground more exciting then being in. The sky" Blue said as she flew up to the perch on top of the sail. "WE MIGHT NEED A LOOK OUT ALSO" Blue yelled

Aero's wings almost came out and followed her from reaction but he was able to catch them in time before they revealed. "MAYBE YOU SHOULD," he shouted up at Blue,"...BEING THE ONLY PEGASUS AND ALL" He slightly chuckled at the thought of loving the ground more than flight but...perhaps she was right. It wasn't all bad and there were way more things that happened...besides, he'd better get used to it.

"I KNOW SUCKS BEING THE ONLY PEGASUS...MAYBE MORE WILL COME BY" Blue yelled as she looked out st the sea. "I hope we set sail real soon the ocean looks very beautiful from up here" Blue said to herself as she flew back down to the deck. "You should see the ocean from up there it beautiful and breath taking...then again I never seen the ocean before" Blue said

"Maybe I'll climb up while we're sailing," he nodded, walking to the the side of the ship. The water brushed lightly against its side, rocking the boat softly. He looked back at Blue. "You seem to be a good flyer. With a little work, I'd bet you could be a Wonderbolt before you knew it."

"I actually came close to beating Rainbow Dash when I challenged to race her...but I lost and besides I don't think the Wonderbolts are for me though" Blue said. "They seem like the type that are always busy with stuff" Blue said as she smiled. "Thank for the compliment also" Blue said
