Who's your best friend? what was the most happy moment of your life? what's your favorite food? do you have any pets? Golbez: * gulps*...well Miss Storm, it's very considerate for a pony of your ...um... Stature to address me, I feel very humbled. *ahem* Enemies? Not that I know of, I've always tried to keep my beak clean if I can't help it. Although, I do remember having drool arguments with the odd unicorn back in Los Pegasus, droning on about my family never being capable of the magic ability of their species and so on and so forth. It's rather tedious and quite frankly, it's getting, rather, old. Friends...hmm, well if I'm Honest I had more acquaintances than actual friends, it's not that I'm bitter or anything though, you have to understand that when you work within Los Pegasus if your not rushed off your feet your friends usually are, so it's rather difficult to spend any of your free time with them. Somehow though my father managed to keep a handful of friends during his career, hopefully I'll be able to make more. My happiest moment would probably be the very first time my name was called out on my very first performance as my fathers stage assistant, I'd rather not dwell on that any further if you don't mind, a lot of things ....well....didn't really go to plan on that day. *ahem* Give me a plain old fashioned cheese and marmalade sandwich anyday. I hadn't really given the idea of a pet much thought to be perfectly honest, though it wouldn't be a bad idea, I'll have to get back to you about that.

Mickey Taker 347 September 14, 2013 Author Share September 14, 2013 Blizzard storm asks: What/who is you biggest influece? Golbez: My family, my family has kept the profession of an entertaining magician for a very long time within the Gryphon Kingdom, however it was my father who decided that it was time for a change of scenery in more, if you will, modern times, hence why he made his career in Los Pegasus. What kind of music do you like? Golbez: I'm actually very open minded on what ponies listen too these days, however I cannot deny that nothing sets my mind at ease more than the sweet sound of anything classical, in fact I've been meaning to practise the Violin at some point. What's your best trick on stage? Golbez: Hmm, well if I had to choose it would have to be the classic impalement trick, you know the one, where you balance your assistant on the point of a spike, only for her to seemingly fall through it and become impaled, only to be lifted off of it again unharmed. This one was always a scream on stage, quite literally in most cases, Heh heh...

Golbez: A novice practise's until he get's it right, an Expert would practise until he simply can't get it wrong. Unfortunately I don't quite consider myself such a thing just yet, you can rehearse a hundred times and still be unprepared for the unimaginable, so yes I have had a few scrapes here and there, I'm afraid I can't tell you anymore than that but nothing too serious happened I assure you. Mickey Taker 347 September 30, 2013 Author Share September 30, 2013 (edited) Golbez: Eh..what..de..GAH!! Where did you come from!? *clears throat* Pardon me I...startle easy..*ahem*...I do a variety of things in my spare time, do a bit of reading, perhaps do some planning for new tricks, or if I have a lot of spare time, perhaps do some rehearsals. If I really want to unwind however, there's nothing quite like soaring in the air with not a care in the world. Now, is there anything else? Or should I expect another heart attack in the near future? Edited September 30, 2013 by Sparx

Mickey Taker 347 October 1, 2013 Author Share October 1, 2013 Golbez: I like to personally push the boundaries during my performances, so the most difficult act I do...thus far, is basically my own take of the classic 'saw the assistant in half' trick, where I have too attempt to escape from the box before I end up sawing 'myself' in half. Mickey Taker 347 October 2, 2013 Author Share October 2, 2013 Golbez: *Nods politely and leaves, comes back five minutes later carrying a tray in one talon holding a small teapot and two cups on saucers* Hmm...well I've really just started my own career, so apart from Los Pegasus and Ponyville...I haven't really visited anywhere else really. *picks up the teapot and slowly pours the tea* However, if I play my cards right, I think it would be a capital idea if I were to do a tour of Equestria, perhaps even further. For now though, my main goal is to obtain the opportunity to perform within Canterlot at one of the events they host there, the more 'regal' Ponyfolk that reside there would be a considerable challenge to perform for, it's pretty much 'All or Nothing' with them. *Picks up one of the cups by the saucer and offers it too Chatterbox* Oh, I'm sorry, do you take milk or sugar with your tea? She did, however, attend one of my fathers performances many, many years ago when I was just a cub...first and only time I saw him as a complete and utter nervous wreck come to think of it. Mickey Taker 347 October 3, 2013 Author Share October 3, 2013 (edited) Golbez: *sips tea...then chokes on it at the mention of the crystal empire* *cough* *cough**cough* ....*ahem* Pardon me, *ahem*...that can't be right surely? I thought the Crystal Empire was just an old mares tale! *cough*....*ahem* Anyway, to properly learn a new trick would take about.....ooooh, two or three weeks give or take, this includes planning, preparation, building...if necessary, taking health and safety into account, testing...and of course...practising. However, to truly master a trick would vary depending on the complexity of its execution, some would take a few weeks, while others would take months, if not, years of practise. As my father would say : "An ametuer practises until he gets it's it right, a master would have practised until he can't get it wrong."
