Mm, nothing too impressive, to be honest. I had plenty of fun drawing this in livestream the other day though! But it wasn't until today that I realized that duh, it was missing something, so I added the background to it.

 

The outline to her mane/tail seems off in color though! I'm definitely going to make a note of that next time when I color. Paint Tool SAI can be really weird like that for outlining in color.

 

Oh, I was wondering though...how do people feel about art of OCs? I wanted to know before I start posting all the stuff of OCs I've drawn.

Pinkie Pie looks good. I like how you put paint on her! Painting IS a messy job after all. I bet when she finishes, she won't be around to watch the paint dry.

Haha guess not until you did! But thank you! <3 I think in hindsight, I should've switched up the yellow with the blue for some of her paint splotches. And of course! That's just how Pinkie is!

Haha well! Not to devalue my own effort in drawing this, I hope it doesn't come off like that. Just not quite as fancy as some other fantastic works out there, you know? But I'm glad I got Pinkie Pie down right for this.

Ugh the body is always a toughie, so that's great to hear! I need more practice drawing ponies standing up, that gives me trouble from time to time.

Thank you! Haha the sun brings it all together, I'm very glad I added it to the picture instead of leaving the background blank.

Lovely drawing; only thing I notice is that the left eye and its proximity to the nose looks just a bit wonky, for lack of a better term.  Other than that, great job!

 

As for OC drawings, I for one love seeing a good OC drawing; it's always nice seeing good artwork of ponies who never show up in the show, just cause it's something new, different, original.  So hey, if you've got some in your archives, I say please share them with us!  Looking forward to seeing what else you got for us ChapelGlass!

Hm, now that you point it out, I see what you mean. Thanks for mentioning it though, I'll have to take better care not to make that mistake in the future.

 

And ah, that's fantastic! I'll do what I can to not overload the forum or anything (guess I should look into making just a big thread for my stuff, maybe) but I'd love sharing my OCs along with canon art. But thank you! Haha I'll be sure to post more every so often.
