Champion RD92 8,658 October 5, 2013 Share October 5, 2013 I'm a bit confused on how these events on the forums work. Can anyone just make any kind of event on any day they feel like? Like, could I just make an event for tomorrow if I wanted to? Like an event where everyone has a certain kind of avatar or something? Is there a rule that you have to set up the event so many days in advance? Could someone just explain how it works? Thanks.
Solution An Old Head 4,816 October 5, 2013 Solution Share October 5, 2013 (edited) That's correct. There's currently a system in place that requires new calendar events to have moderator approval before going up, but if you have a good idea for a calendar event, you can just add away and see where it gets to. It's preferable that you allow a few days' notice before the event itself happens, as that allows an optimal amount of members to get the opportunity to see the event and understand what it is before it happens, especially for events where everyone changes their avatar as they would want to prepare such - but it's not a requirement. NavelColt 22,881 October 5, 2013 Share October 5, 2013 For the record, I made an FAQ regarding the calendar system after mod approval was made mandatory for forum events. It may help in addition to what Flipturn's said --> http://mlpforums.com/page/faq/_/site-problems/can-members-post-things-to-the-forum-calendar-r81
