Snow was a bit confused by Krein's sudden affection towards her, seeing as she had been the one pissing him off all the time earlier. Now didn't seem like the time to question anything, though, so she just rolled with it.

"A whole city...that's harsh," she agreed. Then she looked down.

"I don't think I've changed though...look what I did to that filly..."

Snow then burped loudly.

"I'm sure you didn't mean to do it," Krein said as he went to go and light a tree on fire to keep himself warm.

"If you did, you wouldn't have been crying about it."

"Oh," Snow said quietly, as if just realizing her surroundings. As suddenly as they began to appear, the icy pillars began to withdraw into the ground, and the dome disappeared.

She looked down at all the frozen ponies and turned away. "There's nothing we can do. They're dead. Dead!" Snow slammed a hoof on the ground and caused another pillar to rise, which she quickly destroyed.

Gotta remember to stay calm...

She turned to Krein. "Do you want to hear the rest of my story? I don't mind."

"It's all up to you," he said as he absorbed the flames.

 

*A voice was heard from nowhere in particular.

"Aw, how sweet! The two epitomes of destruction have finally come together! Look around you ponies, you have only furthered my gains in creating all this chaos!"*

 

Krein looked around and was ashamed to see that he was right. From one side, everything was a barren tundra of cold, from the other, an unstable, volcanic land.

A pegasus Imperator flew up to Krein.

"^*^ Is that white mare a... you know..."

"^*^ Yes, and?"

"^*^ No reason, sorry sir. I was just here to tell you you should all go soon, that signal you gave most likely attracted more Imperators, and I don't mean the good ones...."

"^*^ Ah, I understand," Krein said gravely.

 

Toormaarnax landed near all of them.

"It is best you all go now, I said I would take care of this area... and any Imperators that come this way..."

Snow swallowed.

"I don't think now's the time anyways," she muttered, looking nervously at all the Imperators. Even if they were "reformed" she knew a lot of them would be eager to take a chance at killing the Windigo princess.

"Yeah, we'll take our leave then," Krein said as he made a bright red glare flash at the other soldiers standing around them.

"^*^ Don't even think about it..."

The other Imperators backed off a little, and simply formed a small phalanx and began to pace around as a gaurd.

 

"C'mon, we should keep heading west."

[Victoria and Co. 782]

Enigma jumped up. He hadn't slept much, he was too busy questioning himself and had only recently started to drift off, but when the voice sounded in his head, he was ready for action.

 

<You know, you really shouldn't be talking to yourself, other ponies will think you are crazy!>

 

Enigma grimaced.

 

"Discord," he said through clenched teeth.

 

<Ah ha! You know who I am! I'm surprised that you know anyone seeing as you don't know yourself...>

 

"Oh, but doesn't everyone know who you are? Or are some people ignorant to the fact that there's chaos in the world?" Enigma asked the shadows, his voice echoing in the emptiness.

 

<Ah, touche, my dear unicorn, touche. Perhaps you aren't as hopeless as I thought, we shall talk later, in the meantime, I think you 'friends' are leaving.>

 

Without another word, Enigma took off towards where they had spent the night, hoping that Discord couldn't sense his anxiety.

Snow nodded but was a little unwilling to turn her back on the Imperators. They backed off, however. Snow glanced at Krein and saw him glaring at them.

"Thanks," she said, nudging his shoulder with a smile.

"No problem," Krein said as he walked beside her.

In truth, he didn't know why he had begun to develop feeling for Snow. He used to like Twilight, but during the course of the journey, he found himself becoming more and more interested in Snowfell, mainly because of her headstrong behavior, character, and bravery.

Krein looked at the sky, breaking free from his own thoughts. He noticed there was some smoke rising in the area, but he assumed that it was simply a side effect from the volcanic eruptions and fires he had caused earlier.

 

"I should quit worrying, what are the chances anyways?" he asked himself.

[Victoria and Co. 782]

Enigma peered around a fallen rock. After talking to himself for so long, he was ready to talk to some other ponies.

 

"Hello, everypony," he said as he approached the team. "Krein, how did the night go? Not to cold I hope. Ah, good to see you're awake Snowfell, feeling okay? You don't still think I'm 'Ripples' do you? Because I'm not, I'm Enigma."

 

Enigma looked at the Windigo princess suspiciously, preparing for her the cry out and call him another foreign name.

Suddenly a strange noise started to emit from a tree nearby. It was a large tree, and on the side was a hole large enough to fit a pony inside!! It was making the weirdest sounds (like dubstep, I know lol) and you all walked up to it and looked inside. 5 Large black hands, yes hands, jumped out and grabbed each of you in a flash and pulled you all in. Your screams were muffled by the hand as you struggled to get out of it's grasp, but you stayed tight. Eventually you emerged into a world with black spots everywhere and fire practically everywhere!! Demons were eating lambs and baby cows, ponies were being pushed into lava, ripped to shreds, and being eaten alive.

(You're kidding, right?)

 

Krein struggled to free himself as he frantically thrashed about. He landed on the ground with a thud, and almost fell down again when he saw what was around him.

 

"WHAT THE BUCK?!"

 

*The same voice from earlier laughed maniacally as the ponies looked around confused.

"HAHAHAHA! How do you like my new dimension, it quite suits me don't you think?! Aw... I see you don't like it. Very well, being the kind creature that I am, I will let you go... ONLY IF YOU CAN BEAT YOURSELVES IN COMBAT!!! HAVE FUN MY LITTLE PONIES!!"

4 large islands of earth appeared in the lake of fire, each one bearing a clone of one of the ponies. However, they seemed to be different. Krein's clone had red fire markings instead of the usual yellow, and the red eyes were now more of a sulfuric yellow. Snow's was completely black, with her hooves and eyes being white now instead. Enigma's was now a shade of purple, mixed in with other hues of green and grey. Finally, Storm's usual armor set had been changed to look more demonic in appearance.*

"Well...this should be fun." Storm said sarcastically to the others. "I have a plan. Snow, you take Krein's clone...you're ice powers should be the perfect way to beat him. Krein, you take Enigma's clone...your fire manipulation should be able to match all of Enigma's forms except the phoenix. Enigma...you take my clone and I'll take yours. Everpony ready...LET'S DO THIS!"

Snow, on the other hand, was most certainly NOT ready. The heat was making her weaker and she knew that the only way to stay alive was to change once more.

"Guys, I'm going to have to change into a Windigo again," she hissed, frustrated.

"I'm already taking his, that means you have to take Snow's! Wouldn't it be better for me to take her's though?"

He looked towards Snow.

"Go ahead!"

 

The heat, however, was having an opposite effect on him. With this much power at his control, he could personally destroy all of the clones with just a thought... at the expense of his benevolence and sanity.

 

"Ok," he said with a deep breath. "Just for this, I'll let myself go..."

 

His evil looking cutie mark burst around him in a fiery aura, becoming a very intimidating sight to look upon.

 

"^*^ You fool, you dare challenge me?!" he shouted as he flew and tackled Snow's clone

(Is confused by choices. Shouldn't it be Krein vs. Evil Snow and Snow vs. Evil Krein?)

 

Snow looked at Krein attacking her clone and turned to face his. It was already hurtling towards her. She barely had time to duck.

"I'd move out of the way, guys!" she yelled apolagetically. Her body had already begun to morph against her own will and soon, the giant Windigo Snow stood there. It blasted ice at Krein and laughed.

 

(Remember guys, Snow's not in control of herself when she's a Windigo, so you'd better watch it XD Another side note: if Snow is under extreme heat, she will morph even if she doesn't want to. Windigo defense mechanism! XD)

*All the doppleganger's seem to react to their counterparts hostility, and at once began to attack. Doppleganger Snow formed a large icicle and shot it towards Krein, which he dodged in midair and responded with a gout of fire to her face. Doppleganger Storm formed a giant thundercloud over Enigma and prepared to shock him while Doppleganger Enigma began to change to a creature of molten rock*

 

*Doppleganger Krein reacted by using the same super form Krein assumed during the beginning of the battle. The fiery evil face seemed to laugh as it appeared and as the clone raised a wave of magma and launched it towards Snow.*

Snow just continued laughing and dissolved into mist, appearing behind Krein and slamming a block of ice on his head, pinning him down for a moment.

Enigma smirked.

 

"Oh, Evil-Storm, don't you know? Lightning doesn't do a thing to a mighty thuderbird!"

 

Enigma had already transformed and was advancing on the doppelganger.

 

"On the other hand, a I've never known a pegasus to like the taste of the sharpest talons in Equestria!"

 

As Enigma spook he rolled mid-air, his talons connecting with the clone's back.

*D. Krein stumbled about, only to purposely fall into the lava and rise up again. It spat a stream of fire towards the Windigo, hitting her.*

 

"^*^ Pathetic weakling, you will die quickly!" Krein shouted as he formed an obsidian blade and began slicing at D. Snow with it. One of the attacks connected, sending the clone into pain. It reacted by forming a cloud of ice, the began pelting the alicorn with shards of ice.

 

*D. Storm thrashed wildly as Enigma clawed its back, and used one of the sharp edges of its armor to stab enigma with.*

The Windigo was still laughing crazily. The fire spun it off course for a moment but it didn't seem harmed.

Silly Imperators, think their fire can defeat my ice!

Suddenly, a group of Windigos appeared and began attacking the Krein clone. Snow rose up high in the air, eyes blazing.

(Actually, they use other elements besides fire. Krein is just the one with fire, but I made a few more with control over other elements)

 

*D. Krein made a wave of fiery, clawed hands appear from the lake of fire and used them to drag the windigos underneath. It looked at Snowfell and made a geyser of magma shoot from under her.*

 

Kreinbahthur laughed as he increased the intesity of the heat of his evil looking aura.

"^*^ I HONOR MY KIND, BY DESTROYING YOU!!!" he shouted as he tackled the Snow clone and began to burn it with his aura.

Enigma writhed in pain and quickly began to morph again. Once the shadow faded Enigma stood as a Blade-Lizard, a tall bipedal reptile with long and dangerously sharp metallic scales protruding from its forearms, legs, and head. He looked down at his bleeding foot.

 

This is no time to worry about injuries, Enigma thought. I need to focus on taking this clone down.

 

Enigma ran full force towards the evil Storm. He was little more than a blur, for Blade-Lizards, moving at top speed, can reach up to 120 mph.

 

Enigma swung his bladed arm down on D. Storm (lol ) using the entirety of his momentum, fracturing his armor in multiple places.

 

Suddenly, Enigma felt a great shock run through his body.

 

Buck me, I forgot about the electricity! Enigma thought as the power coursed through him.

*The pegasus clone sensed Enigma's pain and charged at him with electric tackles; D. Snow formed an icicle sword and stabbed Krein in the side with it*

 

Even though Krein was in full Imperator mode, the frozen blade still hurt like heck. He panted as he began to feel the freezing cold from inside his body. Pulling the sword out with telekinesis, he tossed it into the lava and then surrounded himself with a protective circle of flames as he tried to regain his strength.

Storm was having a mid air duel with Enigma's evil clone, who had turned into a flaming black gargoyle. Storm had no choice but to break out another of his hidden skills. He started focusing and then, slowly, a trail of thunderclouds started to follow his complicated mid-air maneuvers. Snow then flew in a few fast, extremely tight circles around the gargoyle, wrapping up in the thunderclouds and restricting its movements with powerful electric shocks. Then he formed a group above the gargoyle and forced it to rain, putting out the gargoyle's flames. This didn't make Dark Enigma happy at all. Suddenly he turned into a thunderbird, breaking the cloud chains and flying through the clouds, giving himself an electric armor. Storm realized had to do the same, so he charged up as well. Then he and the thunderbird started a furious lightning speed duel stopping every now and then to clash, but breaking away a few seconds later and resuming the duel.
