Lol, fanfiction aside. Lets just take this rather immature if not oddly adult question for what it is out of the shows cannon context.

 

Three seasons is a long time to have almost zero romantic interest between the main chars. Oh sure we have plenty from the background and seconds. But really is AJ's bro the only pony getting some? (ok that was crude but COME ON!)

 

Now I am not seeking a ship or slash or even mare/mare arguement here, love knows love blah blah squishy kiss kiss, feelings. So while its easy to pair off the girls (see ANY sailor Moon thread about pairing off the main chars, lol) lets think outside that box. This doesnt mean you CAN NOT pair them off, go right ahead, but give good reasons why, how, and so on.

 

But really this thread wasnt ment for the romantic aspect, oh sure Rarity could charm the pants off Fluttershy on a Canterlot moon lite night of spending way to many bits. But this is about the foal having eh? And lets keep the second and backgrounds out of it unless they are with one of the mane gals, I really do not need to hear someone toss out Braueburn and Little strong heart..again.

 

P.s. This is for fun and imagination..you know..imagination, that part of you that isnt hate filled and fact based?

Applejack. Her whole world is mostly family and tradition, i doubt the show would cover it but I'd imagine that once a member of the apple family reaches a certain age they'll be expected produce children. That said.... Mac is taking his sweet time about it.

Thats an interesting topic, I have seen it before concerning the Apple Family. Mac is taken his time, but it seems the family is very very traditional, now where I was raised, the girls of the family where expected to find Husbands right away at a proper age. While the male had the "right" to take his time...never was one for my familys ways, but moving on.

 

1. Think perhaps what the writters are going for her? AJ's fashion of rebellion on this tradition is using the "oh im so dang busy all the time" card and the lack of other male type figures in the family and just a very very old female one who can be lured into a nap when the conversation gets too tough.

Now If i had to vote, I would say honestly, Rainbowdash. Everything about her screams "whatever she will be a solo mare 4ever, she is such a player". But I don't see that, if anything I see her as being beyond shy when it comes to love, and not the type of shy that is the kind of guy/gal that has sex with three differnt people a week avoiding commitment. I think she has some sort of hang up with being touched period. If you take her constant hovering for example, or her lack of family time at home with parents we have seen exist, I would say abuse victom of sorts (and yes i know she hovers cause she loves to fly, but there isnt much speed in hovering..cough)

 

I see her getting taken from the lef field by someone close but not mane 6 close to her, IF anypony I would say Derpy. (yes i am a fan of Derpy being Dinkys Mother) why? Because I see a union there, If Dashie had parent abuse on her by hoof, and Derpy only had Dinky from say a rape  or one night stand scenario well thats alot to have in common, both play up there "masks" of tough tomboy or simple worker mom to hide these pains. :pony shrug:

With Rainbow Dash, she considers being a wonderbolt her destiny, she'd stay celibate for ever if thats what it took to become one. Ofc... once she IS a wonderbolt ist one big party of mares and stallions that stay together all the time.

 

plenty of fics have covered the tragedy that is dating teammates, especially famous ones.

Applejack may or may not be the first to make some lucky stallion very very happy but will likely be the first to have some fillies or colts. Having lots and lots of foals does seem to run in the Apple family and AJ is more than attractive both appearance and personality wise to find a stallion to settle down and have a family with.

Logically, I would say Fluttershy just because she seems like such a nice pony who'd love to have a foal of her own to snuggle and take care of to adulthood. However the fanfic writer in me says they Rainbow Dash finds a nice special stallion who understands her dream that knocks her up unexpectantly and the two become overjoyed parents.

 

...and no I'm not advertising, that synopsis literally came to me off the top of my head.
