While I had a few old school pony toys growing up, I missed out on the original cartoons. My husband got into FiM and, being the loving, supporting wife that I am, I made fun of him mercilessly for being, as he put it, a brony for quite some time. Then one day, we were babysitting our three year old niece who also loves MLP (she's the one who first exposed my husband to the ponies) and I was roped into watching the week's new episode. FiM is just too irresistible!!! Glad you're here and that you and your husband can enjoy this fandom together!!! I need to find a mlp partner!!! Maybe at a bronycon in the near future we'll see!
