I haven't gotten it in the past few years and never contracted any serious illness like the flu, *knocks on wood*, so unless my folks are urgent about me getting it, I won't have one. Ever since i got them, i haven't had a SEVERE sickness, but i have had the common cold and flu here and there, but i think they are a good idea. Hoofry 8 November 19, 2013 Share November 19, 2013 I got a flu shot! Although it was mostly because it was free. And it was required of me, since I volunteer at a hospital, and that's their policy. I was never really bothered by the flu shot, but if it wasn't for the fact that it was free and mandatory, I'm thinking I probably wouldn't go for it. Too much effort.
