InvaderShy 18 November 9, 2013 Share November 9, 2013 All of us know that the process globalization is one of the cornerstones of our future. Some people agree with it, others don't. It can improve the organization of global business, the knowledge of other cultures, the cooperation among environmental organizations, and so-on. But also it has its darker side acting as an accelerator of violence (Well, actually it doesn't end here, for there are more criticisms against it; but I consider this one the main defect). And as everything in this world, it's something complex. Now, supposing that a human mentions at your favorite pony (whichever she/he is) the word globalization for the very first time without any previous explanation, how do you think your favorite would interpret a term like this? If you want, you can expose whether you agree or disagree with globalization.
The Prime Reaper 180 November 9, 2013 Share November 9, 2013 You are trying to propose the idea of making "brony culture" as a religion. Because that is what mainly a fandom would do, bronies started to have some offensive actions lately to people of the internet. Our fandom has low rate of newbies , hibernation of bronies is common but i wouldn't like to take into that. Straight to the point. It is very impossible for all bronies to cooperate with each other in harmony and order. Since we are the elements against the order of society and gender stereotype. We are nearly called as the outcasts of society likes gays; the real reason why most bronies have to conceal their identities as a brony. It will be very unlikely to get any support from stronger force in social media to help us since majority of everyone hates us. We are fighting a war for our fandom with two greatest hyperpowers in the world (Christianity and anti-boys love girlish things legion); with a dull of chance to win. Even Hasbro has many actions lately that meant to demolish the fandom. From shutting down of Fighting is Magic to Equestria Girls, they have done nothing but to backstabbing us in the back with their lies. I don't think that Hasbro does even cared about us anymore but only forcing us to buy our products. Brony globalization is a bad idea while Hasbro tries to limit our power of a fandom. Even if we succeeded, we will still have to wage another eternal battle with religions. Dull chance of survivality of a great fandom
Shanks 10,816 November 9, 2013 Share November 9, 2013 Applejack: Just what in the hay are you talking about? Globalization just sounds like fancy talk for countries getting along with each other. Twilight Sparkle: Globalization, I think I read about that that is when different nations trade with one another isn't it? Luna: Yes we have heard of it from our sister but since we take the night shift we haven't really partaken in it. 1 Rarity Get's Cockroaches

I'm not trying to propose the idea of brony culture as a religion (Maybe you're the one who want that, I don't know). I'm not talking here about fandom, Hasbro, nor anything of the stuff you mentioned. I'm just putting a scenario in which how "your favorite pony" would interpret the term globalization by hearing it at the first time, nothing more, nothing less. Please, read quite well the questions before answering them; and I'm not saying this with intentions of bothering you. Scootalove 10,689 November 9, 2013 Share November 9, 2013 Applejack: Globalization? Must be something that fancy people always talk about when they are working together. Rainbow Dash: Globalization? I don't know what that is, but it's probably something that pegasi are able to do. Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
