MLP and the modern society through the years

I may have adressed this in a previous topic I posted called "Digging Deep: The #1 Reason why I like MLP", but I'm gonna take this a bit further.

The society of MLP:FIM is in fact like today's modern society. Nopony goes without a day of going something, whether it's clearing the skies as a pegasus or raising crops as an earth pony. This is one reason why I like MLP:FIM because of how realistic the writers made the society. There's a conflict just about every day.

Now, let's travel back to the 1980s when MLP first begun. It was noted that the FIM society was like the G1 society. Even though the show was purely for girls back then, it was still a very well written show. Take the pilot episode. Not even a minute through the theme and we see disaster strike. This is what I like and this is what made some bronies like G1 despite it being very much outdated.

When G2 arrived, it was more of slice-of-life situation, which was pretty well made, although all ponies were earth ponies instead of all three breeds like in G1. However, the thing that messed up this society, was the presence of boy ponies. There were only three boy ponies in this generation (correct me if I'm wrong.) The mistake of this G2 society was that the female ponies were chasing the male ponies for love and just about every time, the males were jerks to the females. This happened several times. There was even a song about boys in one episode. This has led to many analysts (such as BronyCurious and Digibrony), to conclude that MLP Tales was the "anti FIM" of MLP.

Then...there was the dreaded G3. This was perhaps the worst society of all, due to the fact that everything was perfect, there was hardly any conflict and it was just one big utopian society. There was no work to do and ponies were just having fun just about every day. In the G3 movie, "Princess Promenode", the plot was very shallow. One pony finds a flower that automatically turns her into a princess...whoa whoa whoa! Rewind! "Automatically turns her into a princess". There's no way that that could happen. It takes a lot of work to become a princess according to other movies. Anyway, the pony is happy that she is now princess, but soon it fades, when she's over her friends. So, she decides to turn all of them into Princessess...so basically the moral is is that every girl can become a Princess? Now that ladies and gentlemen, is one of the most hilarious lessons ever (and misleading too). To sum up G3, the society was the worst of all. The worst society is one that is perfect. No society can ever be perfect.

Thoughts on the society of MLP?

nice analysis... but i think that even this generation society is a bit "utopic", since it is an egalitarian society... but i think is the best of all the generations :)
