Very Special Present(A MLP:FIM Christmas Story)

It was a cold, but sunny day. The snow blanketed the ground like a white blanket. The smoke hurried out of the chimneys of Ponyville. Everyone was out and about playing in the snow, gift shopping, or mingling with others. Not Rainbow Shard though. The little colt was all alone inside his house. He was reading a book about the history of Equestria. He sat in front of the fire place. Did he feel lonely? No one ever thought to ask him. His friend Blue Blast came busting through his door. " RAINBOW SHARD, RAINBOW SHARD! COME QUICK, THE CHRISTMAS EVE FIREWORKS ARE ABOUT TO GO OFF!" Shouted Blue Blast. Rainbow Shard looked up from his book, and gave a confused look. "Couldn't you have atleast knocked?" said Rainbow Shard. Blue Blast grabbed Rainbow Shard and dragged him to town hall. The fireworks zoomed to the sky in a fiery explosion. Rainbow Shard managed to grab a book on the way out. As the crowd watched in awe as the fireworks exploded into letters and shapes and many other things, Rainbow Shard sat on the ground reading. Suddenly the fireworks stopped, and a glittery darkness ascended upon the crowd. Rainbow Shard looked up and yelped. He read about this. The sudden return of NightMare Moon! The crowd ran as NightMare Moon teleported out of nowhere. Rainbow Shard still stands in the same spot. He shot a red laser from his horn into the sky. "That was a warning NightMare Moon. Leave, or suffer." said Rainbow Shard. NightMare Moon laughed and shot her power at him. It pierced his heart and made him remember how she killed his parents. She invaded Ponyville and took his parents and tortured them and then executed them. For she knew he would be able to stop her. A tear shed from his eye. His anger grew strong. His eyes turned red and the color shot out of his eyes as his horn got brighter, and brighter, and brighter, and eventually could not hold any longer for he was not strong enough, he let go and the red laser shot through the dusk light. It completely shattered NightMare Moon. Suddenly Princess Celestia flew down the skies. " What is going on here?!" she exclaimed. Rainbow Shard told her of NightMare Moon returning and trying to destroy Equestria. "For your bravery, I award you the Shard of Bravery. This Shard gives you a stronger power so you can save Equestria." said Princess Celestia. The town rejoiced. This day made Rainbow Shard who he is today. The next day he opened 1 little present which was from Princess Celestia. She had put the shard on a necklace so he could wear it to take the power with him anywhere!

Why does everypony have to do Princess Celestia's job while she back at the castle trolling Princess Luma and molesting others. Good story.
