I hope you mean Castlevania, maybe it is that horror game. My mistake, it's Dead Space.

Looking it up, it seems you mean Dead Space. But 'cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye' is actually a very old saying, so I doubt they meant to reference anything else directly, and just wanted their own play on it.

SBB64, yes, I do mean Dead Space. And honestly, I didn't know it was an old saying. Still kind of cool, though. But it's funny too, how Twilight pokes herself in the eye, just like in Dead Space, except for with a really, really, REALLY sharp and long needle.
