So been on a massive MLP kick lately watching stuff fans have made, and is wondering what some of your favorite videos/songs are.

Princess of the Night and Don't Mine at Night have to be my favorite videos right now, with just spectacular animation similar to the show but with a very great atmosphere. The songs are very put together and catchy.

Children of the Night - Duo Cartoonist

I was extremely excited for the completion of this project ever since they released the animatic. The combination of great animation, background and lighting made this a very impressive and stunningly beautiful video. I would consider this to be the best fan-made MLP animation made to date. I hope Duo Cartoonist has plans for more big projects such as this.

 

For The New Lunar Republic - iamnotacleverpony

This is one of the first fanmade pieces I have heard and will perhaps remain as one of my absolute favourites. This piece is probably largely responsible for me having a large interest in Princess Luna as well as the history of the two sisters. I really wish iamnotacleverpony remained an active figure in the brony fandom; I enjoy her other pieces as well.

 

Lullaby for a Princess - MEMJ0123

I prefer MEMJ0123's version of the song over the original. The singer did a very good job portraying emotion throughout the piece. Perhaps the best lines from the song is "I love you; I miss you" which actually made me cry a bit the first times I listened to the song.

 

 

 

Our Pretty Dictator - ponykillerx

I think I would consider this to be my absolute favourite fan-made MLP artwork to date. Obviously, quite a bit of attention to detail has been placed on both Luna and the background. My only wish is that the resolution of this image was 16:9. Contrary to my opinion, ponykillerx stated that this piece was a failure. A more recent version of this image is uploaded on Deviantart titled as 2345tyghbnm (though I prefer the older version posted in this post). Artworks by ponykillerx are quite beautiful; I would say that his/her images have highly influenced how I draw ponies.

My favorite pony video is Flutter Girl which is made by parnas1us who has made other awesome stuff. My favorite pony song is Trixie's Great Side which is a modification of Trixie's Good Side. The creater of Trixie's Good Side also created Flutterwonder which is also a good song. I also like other Fluttershy songs like Fluttershy's Lament and Flutterstep. Some other random song I like is the instrumental version of Ballons in my Basket. One of My favorite pony musicians is Sim Gretina.
