Unikitty 1,212 December 27, 2013 Share December 27, 2013 The names of locations in such [assumed] style of story should reflect a certain element of actual area. Say for instance you have a city that is famous for it's super-massive power generators that spread copious amounts of electricity throughout every building. A place in which you can see for miles due to it's bustling glow. Such a place may be called Lamplight. Perhaps you have a small rusty port town by the edge of the ocean. A settlement built from old shipwrecks and cannibalised barges. A coppery brown hulk amidst gold sand, green-blue seas, and backed by rising cliff-sides. Such town may be called Ratchet Cove.Point being, you should think about what the location is, what is in there, and why your characters are heading towards it, before thinking up the perfect name.

Thanks for the tip it will really help a lot hello i will give you this ==> http://www.seventhsanctum.com/index-name.php Really helpful link so thank you for that Well then, what are these inhabitants like? What is the place's main profession or resource? What are their stories? Well one place I was thinking about was a small town similar to Ponyvill. In fact it is structurd the same way The difference is that this town is inhabited by supernatural creatures that are intelligent. They range in all shapes in sizes from vampires to ghouls exetera For the most part they are peaceful and civil, but they can act like the mosters they eepresent.
