I'm planning on making a web comic just to take up some of my free time. I'd like a check on the concept.

There are an infinite number of realms parallel to earth. The main one, the realm of heaven, is home to the angels. Angels get assigned to a human with the ability to see deadly creatures from seperate dimensions called demons. This will be the story of a high school girl who gained the ability to see these demons and her guardian angel.

This concept is pretty much been used throughout many stories, most notably being that certain high schooler(s) gets X and then must do Y to save Z. 

 

There's nothing wrong with this concept though, not to mention the little tidbit of infinite realms can really add some zing to your story. What it really comes down to is how you structure your characters, story and how it flows overall. Flesh out your characters, the story, but most importantly have fun with it!

Well yeah. The concept has been used before if you're gonna be THAT general about it. At that level of generalness every concept has been done. Anyways, the whole concept actually came to me in a dream and I'm currently fleshing out some story arcs. I'm also gonna have some religious history (modified to fit with my stuff of course) in there.
