Objectivity vs subjectivity in mlp fan anaylsis

I've been fallowing Digi brony (like many of you) and the voice of reason (like me and 4 other guys lol),

 

and the major difference is digi comes from the stand point their is no such thing as Objectivity.  Our experiences, prejudices, likes and desires shape our opinions,

and even if you could do a objective review it would be something so boring and worthless it wouldn't be something anyone would ever wanna see.

 

Where as the voice of reason has a set guide lines to which he comes to the conclusion is an objective review.

 

Now which stance do you personally agree with?  I totally understand the point digi is making,

but you can put up guidelines to help limit subjectivity.

 

And i think that's actually what a criticing should be.  It's a lense by which you can shine light (your thoughts) through and focus in a constructive manner.

 

I've never been a fan of "it's impossible to do so we shouldn't even try" stance.
It's lazy and it's bad for you.
