"Ooooh! First time I've seen that" He marveled at the map. "I've seen more impressive than that but still. Anyway I'm here for a rest, to drop of some artifacts i found if you land in the cities i need to, and just between you and me I'm waiting for my heat to cool down. I may have stolen a stolen item from a griffon baron and he may be sending his underlings after me. Nothing I've not done before"

"I'll be ready to fight alongside you if they come." Thunder stated as he gathered some electricity and made the map disappear. "So, were you going to the mess hall? I was going there too. We could probably go together and get some grub there if you'd like." Thunder offered.

"Come to think of it I am a little hungry... Why not?" He adjusted his fez and almost began to rabble about his many quests and adventures throughout the world. He stopped himself before he did. his pony might not want to hear it, he didn't want to brag. "How did you pay for this trip? I hear it costs a hoof and a leg. The only reason I got tickets was I know a politician in Canterlot who could get it cheap"@,

"Eh, won a flying competition, which gave away a ton of bits." Thunder answered. He wasn't meaning to brag at all. "So, what's your special talent, and how did you get it?" Thunder Dash asked. This was one of the first things Thunder would ask a pony, not to make himself look higher than it though.

"I suppose it's adventuring. A map and all. That's what I've always done. It sure gives you benefits. But it has ti's costs..." He looked down at his scar on his leg and cursed De Flanko for giving the limp and pain that went with it.

"Benefits indeed. I've seen more than most. I have friends all over Equestria and beyond. I even had the chance of meeting Celestia but it wasn't really a good occasion. I've saved many live and stopped wars only to also send others to thier doom and do some less than humane things to stay alive and keep others alive. I've done many things I'm not proud of but I've done many more than that I am proud of.Thus the life of adventure. Anyway lets get away from that. If you see a griffon with a red armband on board find me. If it's blue also find me. Blue is bad and red is good. Blue is the one after me and red is the griffons under one of the griffon barons that are my friends. You race? I've done some racing before. It wasn't for money but still"

Atlas looked over the food options. Their was the standard vegetables with a selection of meat for any griffons on board as they do eat meat. Just looking at it brought memories back to Atlas. He froze up for a moment as he thought then shook it off with a smile.

"Oh now that is cool. Well me...I can wield electricity and convert it into magic. I've had this ability since I was a little colt. But, the truth is, I got them by accident. You see, it was just a normal day at flight camp, all of the pegasai flying freely. I was looking around until I see a little pegasus wandering into some clouds. Not just any clouds, these were storm clouds. A storm was approaching. A few minutes went by. There was no sign of the little pegasus. The Wonderbolts went to search for it, but they couldn't find him. That's when I decided to go look for him myself, despite everypony else's doubts and worries. I zoomed into the storm as fast as I could and oh, what a glorious sight! Thunder clapping, lightning flashing, rain pouring down! As I was speeding though the storm...BOOM! I was struck by lightning!" Thunder Dash stated. The story wasn't over yet.

Atlas didn't question a single word of his story. He just kept quite and listened. He had seen stranger than this but this was strange to say the least. Much to the disdain of the servers at the mess hall Atlas grabbed a carrot with his wing straight from the trays without touching another one and ate it while he listened.

OOC: If I sound theatrical or anything it's cause I'm a fanfic writer so does carry over a little

"But! I didn't go down. The lightning strike was actually absorbed in my body. When it hit me, it actually changed my genetic code, causing me to be immune and have the ability to wield electricity. In the end, I rescued the little pegasus. You can actually say that I'm a hornless alicorn since I can do magic and I'm a pegasus." Thunder stated.

"Impressive. I've seen something similar to that but it was temporary and the strangest thing in my life. The pony who had it was evil to say the least. The sheer power killed him. It was about ten minutes if i recall. Let's just say the world has more power than anypony could possible imagine. Are you by any chance related to a Miss Rainbow Dash? I ran into her last time I was in Ponyville which i use as a base camp before going into the Everfree forest"

"Well, you can say that. I'm actually her older brother. And that pegasus whom I rescued, was one of Rainbow Dash's friends from Jr. Flight Camp." Thunder explained. 

 

(OOC: In most RPs, Rainbow Dash and Thunder Dash are just friends. In other RPs where it's not so strict, Thunder is Rainbow Dash's older brother)
