FlutterShiny 19 January 19, 2014 Share January 19, 2014 (edited) Let's see, I'm terrible at these things . . . I'm 29, live in Florida, and work in the pharmacy of a large retain chain. I'm a huge animal lover, as are most of my coworkers, whom I am lucky enough to consider a second family instead of just 'people I see at work'. As the avatar indicates, I also love Doctor Who and generally anything fantasy and sci-fi is at least worth a look from me. When I'm not at work or out with friends/coworkers, there is usually something on the stovetop or baking in the oven. I didn't answer the favorite pony question because I can never decide between Fluttershy or Pinkie Pie. I'm a bizarre combination of them both. Also, coffee is life. Guest January 19, 2014 Share January 19, 2014 Why does the 9th Doctor not get enough love? I loved 9, yet people actually skip over him. He played a very chaotic and emotional Doctor and I loved it. I give you credit for appreciating him, as many people don't see what genius 9's Doctor is.

Also I hope you really enjoy your time here ^-^ I agree with you on this very much so. Most people just say "oh, he's just a very angry Doctor" but he has motivation! He just ended the time wars! He is responsible for killing off two entire races, one being his own. He is filled with discontent for the universe because of the position he was in, and the decision he was forced to make. He has so much reason to be as angry as he is, because he feels like the universe cheated him and forced him to have to be the bad guy. He had no choice but to be the scapegoat so that the universe could keep spinning.
FlutterShiny 19 January 19, 2014 Author Share January 19, 2014 (edited) Nine is so, so underrated and it's almost unfair. Everyone is all: "DAVID TENNANT IS BEST DOCTOR!" "NOE YOU SUCK, MATT IS BEST DOCTOR. CAPALDI SUCKS I'M QUITTING THE SHOW!" And I'm just over here, watching The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances. Are you my Mummy? Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly love all of the NuWho Doctors for different reasons, but people tend to forget that it's Eccleston's Doctor (And yes, Billie Piper's Rose, another widely hated character) that revived the series. I tried not getting too attached to him because I knew he only did one series, but upon rewatch, it's kind of hard to take that final fantastic line. That being said, I can hardly wait to see where Capaldi takes the role next. Edited January 19, 2014 by FlutterShiny
Guest January 19, 2014 Share January 19, 2014 I loved all the new Doctors as well as many of the old ones. I am excited for Capaldi because I am hoping that having an older Doctor will make the obsession with romance interests for him die down. The Doctor is a character that can stand on his own, and his female companions seem to devolve after they fall in love with him. Martha was a great companion, but she was kind of slightly ruined a bit by how much she was obsessed with being in love with the Doctor. It kind of made it seem like "oh... Of course, the strong female character falls for the big important man and slowly turns into a blithering idiot..." Fortunately they fixed it a bit when she left the Doctor's side because she grew as a character and evolved far beyond what she would have had she stayed with the Doctor. Wingnut 7,005 January 19, 2014 Share January 19, 2014 Welcome to the forums, FlutterShiny! Stick around and you may begin to think of us as a second family as well. 'm not going to ask you to name a favorite pony but how do you relate to Pinkie and Fluttershy so well? They seem like polar opposites in so many ways. Finally, I totally agree with you. Coffee is life...just like MLP. Cheers!

FlutterShiny 19 January 20, 2014 Author Share January 20, 2014 Welcome to the forums, FlutterShiny! Cheers! Firstly, thanks for the warm welcomes, everypony! You guys sure are friendly. Secondly (I told you it was bizarre!), I explained my two ponies here - http://mlpforums.com/topic/85097-in-what-ways-do-you-relate-to-your-best-pony/?p=2215952 To sum up, it takes the right people to bring out the Pinkie in me, but I was a Fluttershy for most of my life, and do require time to myself, away from people and not talking to anyone, as introverts do.
