What are your thoughts on an idea where Twilight Sparkle loses her magical powers for the Season Finale?

 

Some villian could steal Twilight's magical powers.

Twilight uses a spell to save Equestria but it costs all her magical powers.

Twilight gets afflicted by some curse that seals her magic powers.

 

Then next season has Twilight looking for a way to get her magic back and dealing with the normal life without them.

I wasn't expecting more than just a few episodes in to the season. Just enough for some time passing and toss some problems the Mane 6 way while having Twilight find alternative means to solve them.

Yeah that'd be pretty interesting to see. I do agree. People complain the elements of harmony always resolved issues but really when you think about it it's twilight and her magic. I'd like to see another character save the day for once.

Someone on another thread suggested that Twilight could lose her horn and wings, making her go through the life of an Earth Pony. Regain the wings to live through being a Pegasus. Finally, regaining her Alicorn status.

Yeah that'd be a cool way of doing it! And in some way she'd learn more about how things are for her friends. They'd teach her how life works the same way RainbowDash tried coaching twilight on her wings.
