How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I think I picked up the show just after season 2. I have little interest in previous generations (I've heard none of them are as good as G4). I'd heard of bronies previously, but showed little interest in the show until finally I watched Episode 1, then 2, then the rest of season 1 on the same night. I've been a fan ever since, though I call myself a brony, I've kept my distance from the community at large, though for no particular reason. Now I'm here! I'm a gamer and a writer.
