"Oh pictures that I took. Here's a super funny one I took of my brother!" Thunder stated as he opened up a picture of Blitz sitting down blushing deeply wearing a diaper. Thunder held in a few giggles. "I never get tired of seeing this pic." Thunder said letting out a giggle.

Gale grinned, snorted, then burst into laughter. "Oh my gosh, that is priceless! Look how red his face is!" she giggled. "What did you have to do, to get him to agree?" She grinned. "I can see how you never get tired of it!"

"Oh...this is just priceless right here. So...Blitz, my brother was babysitting one day and had to change a diaper. Unfortunately...he had a hard time catching the baby since it was a little pegasus. He caught it but when he tried changing the diaper as fast as he could, the pegasus pulled a fast trick and ended up putting the clean new diaper on Blitz himself! I happened to be coming to check on Blitz and when I saw him...I just had to take a photo!" Thunder said giggling.

"Haha! I bet he never babysat again," Gale giggled. "That is absolutely perfect! ...That reminds me; one time Feather babysat for a friend of the family while she went out for Hearts and Hooves Day with her husband. Feather came home that evening and said 'NEVER AGAIN!' " She smiled, remembering. "Wow, that was a year ago! Time goes by so fast these days..."

There was a selfie Thunder took at he factory a couple days ago that appeared as the first pic on his profile.

"Maybe I should try babysitting one of these days," Gale smiled. "I for one think it would be fun...as long as the baby wasn't a pegasus!" She leaned back in her chair, taking another sip of her fruit juice. "Man, this juice is good! Where did you get it?"

"Got it from the Ponyville marketplace, a one time deal that I couldn't miss. It was one of them traveling stalls that go around Equestria's marketplaces." Thunder explained as e drank his fruit juice. "So...are you ready for tomorrow? Thunder asked as he took another sup of his fruit juice.

"No wonder it tastes so good..." Gale murmured to herself. She set her empty cup on the table and reached up to scratch an itch in her mane. "Tomorrow? Yeah, I'm ready to learn storm-wrangling," she replied. "Even if it's hard, it'll be a lot more fun than anything else I would have done tomorrow!"

"No wonder it tastes so good..." Gale murmured to herself. She set her empty cup on the table and reached up to scratch an itch in her mane. "Tomorrow? Yeah, I'm ready to learn storm-wrangling," she replied. "Even if it's hard, it'll be a lot more fun than anything else I would have done tomorrow!"

"That's the spirit!" Thunder said happily as he now logged in to his PonyTube account. He checked his videos. One of them had reached ten thousand views. "Oh sweet!" Thunder said happily as he continued to look at his channel. Thunder then saw a dislike in one of his videos.

"A dislike? That's not too bad, haters will always come along regardless of what your videos are," Gale said. "On the other hoof, ten thousand views is pretty cool!" She stood up to stretch briefly. "I'm not really interested in social network myself...it's kind of just one more thing to have to keep up with in my opinion. I'm already busy at home with taking care of Lila...oh, I haven't told you about her yet, have I?"

"I'm not really interested in social network myself...it's kind of just one more thing to have to keep up with in my opinion. "No, and yeah, haters will hate. The sad thing is that they can't do it they just sit there jealous and complaining when they could be harvesting a talent...or showing what they can do with their cutie mark." Thunder stated as he continued to look at his PonyTube channel .

"I know." Gale paused. "Lila...she's five years old, and she's blind. She's the only blind pony I know who plays the piano...she luckily learned the keys before she went blind. I think she continues to play because it soothes her inside...calms her frustration about not being able to see. Sometimes...sometimes I wish I could be a unicorn for a while, just so I could restore her eyesight - even if it only lasted for a day. I'd make sure that was the best day she ever had."

 

Gale stared at the floor for a moment, then composed herself and glanced up. "But enough sad stories!" She glanced at the clock. "Oh...I'd better be going home now, so I can have some time with Lila before supper." She made eye contact with Thunder. "I've really enjoyed this afternoon, and I thank you for your hospitality. When do I meet you for storm-wrangling tomorrow?"

"But...how did she go blind? Did she...have a brain condition that gradually got worse as she aged?" Thunder asked as he continued to wonder about Lila and her blindness. "I can help you with Lila. We can even bring her over to my place if that's alright." Thunder stated.

((Two days later, I respond again LOL! I've been busy, and I'll continue to be busy over the next few days, just so you know.))

 

"The doctor said it was a brain condition," Gale nodded. "She went blind over the course of a year...it was a really sad time. It's been a few years now since then...And thanks! I'll definitely bring her over sometime this week, but not tonight...it's a little late this time. I appreciate your offer! Oh, and before I forget, what time do I have to meet you for storm wrangling tomorrow?"

"Ooh, that's sad. What was the condition exactly?" Thunder asked. "And you'll have to meet me at 8...wait...you can sleep at my place for tonight...if you don't mind." Thunder stated as he put his laptop down and waited for Gale's answer.

"The doctors never said exactly what was wrong...at least, if they told Mom, she never told me."

 

Gale paused, considering Thunder's second statement. "Hey, you know, that would actually be better than going home, since it is kind of a long way to my house. Hang on, let me call my mom." She reached into the pouch on her collar, realized briefly that the rose Thunder had given her was no longer there (Huh, must have fallen out, she thought), and dialed her house number quickly.

 

"Hey, Mom? Yeah, I'm at the house of Thunder Dash right now. He invited me...and he offered me a job, storm-wrangling at Cloudsdale! He asked if I could stay the night, since tomorrow is my first day and it's a little late...Great! Thanks, Mom! I'll see you tomorrow!" She hung up.

 

"Mom said I could sleep here tonight!" she announced, smiling.

"Yay! That's awesome!" Thunder stated. "It's getting late, so let's get ready for bed." Thunder stated as he went upstairs to go brush his teeth. "I've got an extra toothbrush if you need one." Thunder stated as he put toothpaste on his toothbrush and started to brush his teeth.

"Is it all right with you if I sleep on the couch?" Gale asked him. "I've never been comfortable in a bed...I always move around too much, but for some reason when I'm on the couch, the back of it keeps me still."

"It's okay. You can sleep with me. I won't mind it at all. The couch is really made for sleeping." Thunder stated as he rolled the sheets back from his bed and plopped himself on it. He then patted a side for Gale. "But why do you move so much when you sleep?" Thunder asked.

"I don't really know. It's been that way for a while, probably a couple years now," Gale replied, wondering what on earth Feather would think when she said she'd slept in the same bed as Thunder. I hope I can explain nothing happened before she gets the wrong ideas, she thought, glad she didn't blush easily. She hopped up onto the bed and settled down. "Wow, this is nice!"

"Glad you like it." Thunder stated nuzzling Gale lovingly. He then scooted a little closer to her. "Well...this was a great day. We meet and we fall in love..." Thunder stated as he sunk a little into his bed. "Don't you agree?" Thunder asked Gale coming a little closer to her.

Gale smiled, nuzzling him back. "The best Hearts and Hooves day I've ever had," she agreed, putting a hoof around him in a gentle hug beneath the blanket. She closed her eyes, feeling his presence beside her...it was the most wonderful feeling, and somehow it felt...right. Almost as though they were meant to be together all their lives.

"I love you, Thunder," she murmured happily.

"I love you to...my beautiful Gale." Thunder stated as he cuddled and embraced Gale. He gave her a little kiss before drifting off to sleep for the night. It was indeed a great Hearts and Hooves Day, since Thunder had met his special somepony that he had been longing for.
