LongGoneGr 1,305 February 20, 2014 Share February 20, 2014 You know back in the years when I was a bartender (ancient history), people kept trying to call me barmaid. I was not pleased! I asked every one of them what on earth is in the word "bartender" that says it has to be a guy? I'm sure this is more than anyone wants to talk about. lol. But I really am fine with being a Brony. Brony really doesn't say it's a guy I just researched how the name originated and didn't want to offend anyone. And I did read one very nasty post somewhere about guy Bronies who hate the girl Bronies and being new I want to start off on the right hoof. Obvoiously, guy bronies who do that to girl bronies (i call them pegasisters, no offense) are missing the point of the show ; kindness!
Diva Pony 345 February 20, 2014 Author Share February 20, 2014 No offense taken at all. Pegasisters is a very nice name too. Help though. When you reply to me, part of my previous post goes into your reply. I have tried using the quote button and when I replied to your Brony answer, it didn't do anything and my reply was still separate. What do you do to bring the previous question into the answer box? I really am new at this. Sigh. And I agree about people missing the point. And I also see that a couple of people have added me as a friend, you included. But how do you do that? I agree pegasisters has a nice ring to it also Brony is Bro and Pony merged. Bro is a usually considered a shortened therm for brother in my experience, so it technically is implying its a male. Thou i dont mind either way if a girl decides to use the nick brony. I have enough troubles hating on the stereotype brony haters =.= Silly muffins, of course i have to eat you. Let's start with the quoting. You have to press quote, then go into the reply box. I'm not sure why it's not working - try the multiquote option is it continues to not work. Adding friends - go to a profile, and select "add me as a friend"
Diva Pony 345 February 20, 2014 Author Share February 20, 2014 Oh my goodness, I think I have figured out a work around on the not working quote button. If you go to the section you want to answer and right click like you are going to copy paste it is there as an option. I think this is going to work. So for your comment on Brony haters, I have to agree with you how frustrating it is. I wonder why ignorant people always feel a need to judge. But I am really impressed at what a great place this forum is to be who you want to be whenever you want. Well I guess it didn't work. I am very technically challenged! It also looks like those who have added me as a friend are appearing on my friend page too so I guess I don't need to do anything to reciprocate? Karma Lightwing 245 February 20, 2014 Share February 20, 2014 (edited) dont feel bad, I studied IT for a couple of years and we learned to prejudge the user as a complete idiot cause users will always find ways to make mistakes. So you are better off than the users i learned to program for already Thou i did change a course of study i will still have this knowledge with me ofr the rest of my life Also there is notifications when someone quotes, brohoofs and messages you which will light up at the tab on the top of the screen, Also if you click on the name and my content you will find a list of forum posts you commented on that have been updated. They appear bold if they are updated. There is also a lot of other stuff but im not sure where to begin with that Edit: also just press the quote button in the post you want to quote, Then just write your reply beneath it. I usually does that and it works just fine. Edited February 20, 2014 by Karmali Fluffheart Silly muffins, of course i have to eat you.
Diva Pony 345 February 20, 2014 Author Share February 20, 2014 OK, trying again. I hit the quote button. I have actually had things in Ebay and other sites that all of a sudden don't show up when other people have them. If I switch to Firefox browser, I have it. It might be Internet Explorer sabotaging me if this still doesn't work. But thank you for the input! I absolutely have to get something done right now but I will peruse this again later. Karma Lightwing 245 February 20, 2014 Share February 20, 2014 Well i would have switched to Google Chrome if i were you. Internet Explorer is like the "devil" of web browsers in my eyes. It doesn't even read the webpages the same way other web browsers does and people setting these webpages up these days dont give IE first priority. Not to mention it has a terrible security protocol in general. Which also explains why it probably doesnt work the same for you. 1 Silly muffins, of course i have to eat you. Diva Pony 345 February 21, 2014 Author Share February 21, 2014 omg! I'm not alone! THANK YOU!!!!! I doubt if anyone is still going to read this from yesterday but just in case....I really want to apologize because for the better part of the day, I had next to nothing in my profile. As I said in the beginning I'm new to this. And now I see that lots of ponies have looked at my profile but I also know that a lot of them probably saw nothing. So I'm really sorry! I didn't know it was important and this all kind of happened so fast. It's been a great first day. Thanks to everypony.
equerio 6,153 February 21, 2014 Share February 21, 2014 Hey, no problem! It's not a big deal really, some of the ponies here have literally nothing in their profiles, and it's perfectly fine BTW, your profile pic is super cute! 1 My OCs: Joyfire (ask page), Miroslav (under construction). Uhh... equerio is a not-so-lazy Serb who has been to other countries He may have been banned from the Welcoming Plaza, but he is still welcomed here
