Green Acres, Pony style

Anyone remember watching "Green Acres"? I remember when I saw it on “Nick At Nite’s” Block Party Summer (after it took over the Monkey’s time slot) every Monday night. I found it interesting, and my parents were very happy to share a TV show they enjoyed in their youth with me.

 

 

You might also remember the Pinky and the Brain Parody: "Brain Acres."

Well, what would you think of a Pony version of the Green Acres theme song? Here’s a version I just wrote (Sweet-Apple Acres) that is sung by Applejack and Rarity (and joined by the rest of the Mane 6 at the very end):

Sweet-Apple Acres is the place to be
Farm living is the life for me
Fresh apple picking far and wide
Forget Manehattan, just give me that countryside.

But Manehattan’s where I’d rather stay
