[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

(OOC: This is an RP between Thunder Dash and Gemini V2)

It was a sunny day in Detrot. Thunder Dash and Nitro Spark were in their shop tuning their cars. Thunder was tuning his Venom GT, while Nitro Spark was doing a quick upgrade on his heavily modified Lamborghini Egoista.

Celsius was working on his new project in his workshop when he noticed it was almost lunch time. He put down his wrench, took off his goggles, and wiped his forehead with a handkerchief. He then walked outside and shut the door behind him. "It's a beautiful day,' Celsius said aloud to himself looking up at the sky, "I think I might go for a flight around town to get some air.' With that, he put his goggles back on, got into a crouching position, and took off.

Nitro had finished upgrading the comps of his Egoista. "Boy, it almost lunchtime. I'm gonna go grab me some grub and be back." Nitro stated as he put on his racing helmet and flew out the shop. The new upgrade to his Egoista was a locator. With a whistle, or a push of a button on Nitro's key fab, Nitro's Egoista will automatically drive or fly to Nitro's exact location.

As Celsius flew overhead, he could see thousands of ponies hustling about trying to get to their destination. He started to question why are they in such a hurry now-a-days? Why can't they be more like me, relaxed, yet I still keep myself busy? He noticed a local restaurant down below and stated, "Hey, why not right, let's try something new?" Celsius flew down to meet the cafe, took off his goggles, opened the door, and walked inside casually.

As Nitro was flying, he saw a blue pegasus heading down somewhere. "Hmm, I wonder where he's gonna eat. I'm gonna go follow him and check it out." Nitro said as he descended and followed the blue pegasus. Back at the hideout, Thunder was dynoing his Venom GT.

As Celsius walked in, he was greeted by a waitress. "Follow me, sir." she said as she turned around and led Celsius to an empty booth at the back. Once seated, she gave him a menu, and asked for his drink. Celsius answered, "Water, please." She echoed him as she wrote it down and walked off.

Nitro Spark entered the restaurant and surprisingly, the waiter led him right to where the pegasus was sitting. "Hey there. Surprised the waitress had me to sit with you. How's it going?" Nitro Spark asked as he looked at the menu and thought about what he wanted.

Celsius pulled the menu away from his face a little bit and said shyly, "Oh, hello. It's going fine, h-how 'bout yourself?" He quickly looked back at his menu to decide what he wanted. Couple of seconds later, he said noticing that Nitro was still standing, "Um, y-you could sit. I don't talk much, b-but fill free to have a sit."

"Well...it's going great. Because I just upgraded the computer on my Lamborghini Egoista and...you seem a little shy..." Nitro Spark observed as he continued to look at his menu. Meanwhile Thunder had finished dynoing his Venom GT. He then took it for a handling test.

"Yes, I u-usually don't talk much b-because I'm always in my shop working on my project." said Celsius with a awkward grin as he put down his menu and started to think about Nitro's Lamborghini because he'd never herd of anything as such, "Lambor, what?" he said with much curiosity.

"Lamborghini. It is a highly modified car." I'll show you when we get done eating. When you see it, you will be in awe. My friend Thunder Dash has a car too, it's a Hennessy Venom GT. He also modified his car as well." Nitro Spark explained. A waitress came. Nitro ordered a burger and fries.

Celsius's eyes grew wide with awe as he never herd of such machinery before. Celsius ordered the same thing and said, "Well you see, I don't get out much, s-so I don't know what all is out there." He handed the waitress the menu and she gave him his water, he took a sip.

"Well...if you want to hang out with me after, I could show my headquarters." Nitro stated.

 

Five minutes passed and the meals had arrived. Nitro took a bite of his burger. "Nothing like a classic burger from the city of Detrot." He said as he took another bite.

 

(OOC: Gonna be commuting from community college back to my house. It won't take that long.)

"S-sure, that would be cool, "Celsius said taking a bit of his meal and thinking about new ideas to build, "s-so tell me more about this, L-lamba, how do you say it again?" He wasn't quite sure what is was exactly, but he was determined to find out more about it. Celsius took another sip of his water.

"Lam-bor-ghee-nee" Nitro pronounced. "Maybe to help you remember, use this: "A lamb bore a calf named Ghee, who had a scar on his knee!" See?" Nitro asked as he took another bite from his burger. "You'll get it soon enough." He added as he dipped a fry in ketchup and ate it.

"Oh, it's a car," Celsius said taking another bite of his burger, "I don't like to work on cars, that much. Now that I think about it, I haven't worked on a car at all, it's just big machinery that I like to work on. Like this new jet I designed myself," he said pulling out the blue prints, "I haven't finished it yet, but once it's done, pssh, you wouldn't wanna race it." He said with a slight chuckle.

"Now that's pretty cool. My friend Thunder Dash works on a lot of stuff, including jets, hovercraft, rockets and other cool gagets." Nitro Spark stated. "My mane specialty is cars. I actually used to be a delivery pony...until...I was involved in a...terrible accident." Nitro Spark said spreading his wings out, revealing the metal platings.

Celsius cringed at the sight, "Ouch man, doesn't that hurt?" he said rolling up the prints and putting them back, "I was in an automobile accident myself, I don't have any broken bones on me, but I had a major headache the next morning because of the impact." (OOC: That part is a true story in real life) Celsius stared blankly at the table for a moment remembering the scene.

"Well...for me...I...was...struck by lightning right on the wings and nearly drowned." Nitro Spark said cringing at his own story. The doctors were able to save my wings, which were nearly fried to the bone. It would've been a major tragedy if I had to get them amputated." Nitro Spark explained.

"Awe man, yeah, that would have been bad, "he said as he looked at his left wing, "knowing that you're a pegasus with no wings. I just hope that I don't get these caught on anything while I'm working on my jet," he said finishing the last bite of his burger. Celsius was now waiting to see this car of Nitro's and know more about it, "So, you ready to show me that Lamborghini?" he said getting up to go pay.

"Yeah." Nitro Spark stated as he got up. He then went to the door. "There's a reason why I didn't bring it here. It's something really cool that Thunder Dash and I have been working on for the past few months." Nitro Spark stated as he waited for Celsius. Back at the shop. Thunder had just arrived back from the handling test.

As Celsius got through paying, he grabbed a mint from the counter and popped it in his mouth, and walked out the door with Nitro, "Oh, and what might that be?" said Celsius putting on his goggles, preparing to fly, "I also would've brought my jet, but you know, the streets aren't wide enough for it to land and she's a pretty big ship."

"Well..." Nitro Spark as he took a breath. He then whistled loudly. His Egoista came roaring down the streets and pulled right in front of Nitro and Celsius with nopony in it. "Say hello to my Lamborghni Egoista." Nitro Spark proclaimed as he pushed a button on his key fab and the canopy door opened upwards.

Celsius slowly took off his googles and his eyes grew wide with excitement, wanting to open up the hood and know more about this beauty. He walked over to it, taking in the new car smell, savoring every last bit of it. He loved working on different machinery and he took pride in whatever he was working with. He wasn't a few hoof steps from the hood when he said with a eager laugh, "Can I open it up?"

"I got it." Nitro said pushing another button on his key fab. The engine compartment was in the back. It revealed the quad turbo, supercharged, nitrous-loaded lamborghini V12 engine. The folded rocket thrusters could not be seen. "Behold...the heart of the beast." Nitro declared.
