If I can drive a jet, I'm sure I can be able to drive this beauty," he said looking at her sleek body, "what's her top speed?" Celsius said as he stared at the car with awe,

"Well...you'll have to come along for the ride to figure that out. These controls are super advanced." Nitro stated as he climbed into the driver's seat and revved the V16 engine. He then pressed a button. The canopy closed on top of them. Nitro put on his seatbelt. "You will definitely need a seatbelt." Nitro stated.

As Celsius slowly sat down in the passengers seat of the car, he began to take it all in, strapping in his seatbelt, leaning back, and rubbing the seat handle slowly with his right hoof. He stopped and stared out the front window and said, "Awe, man, "he paused for for a few seconds, "let's go I wanna see how fast this thing can go. If it can beat my jet, probably not, then I want one of these."

"Celsius...you better hold on for this one." Nitro said as he floored the gas and car shot up to 80mph in 1 second. Nitro wasn't even at the end of 1st gear. By time he shifted to second, he was already hitting 120mph. He then opened the mini turbo to keep the catalytic converter cool. The car reached 150mph on the straight street.

"Bro I've broken the sound barrier, so I don't need to hold on," said Celsius as he laid back getting comfortable. It was a natural feeling to him of going fast. As Celsius sat in the passengers seat only going 150mph he said grinning, "You wanna race my jet? I'm pretty sure I'll win, but it's worth a try, right?

"Heh, really?" Nitro Spark asked as he flipped several switches. The rocket thrusters unfolded and built up power. Nitro then pulled the conversion switch and the wings folded in the Egoista popped out. Nitro then pulled back and the car started to rise into the air. "Woohoo!" Nitro shouted as the car continued to gain altitude. The tires folded in as the body extended outwards for more aerodynamics.

"Ok, now we're getting somewhere," said Celsius putting on his goggles, "lets try and break the sound barrier, but i doubt this car can." Celsius was looking at the drivers side of the car and notcied all these high tech buttons and panels and said, "Ah, I see you've installed a new console too, my jet has the same thing, but bigger."

"Yep. I did." Nitro stated as he opened a casing and pushed a red button. The thrusters shot to max power and exploded with a mass amount of power, sending the Egoista past the speed of sound in a mere tenth of a second. Nitro pulled a quick barrel roll in the air as well.

Celsius was used to the G-forces when he flies in his jet almost everyday. He had a grin on his face when he noticed the speedometer had reached mach two speeds, "Dang man, you could almost beat my jet, almost, I put in a little extra something that would make even you hold on," he said still smirking.

Nitro pressed the two nitrous buttons on his steering wheel. The nitrous flowed through the engines and into the rocket thrusters. A boost could be felt. Nitro was used to these speeds since he tested his Egoista many times. But, it wasn't over yet. Nitro had a couple more things up his sleeve.

Celsius was a bit of an adrenaline junkie and loved to go fast. After about five minutes of silence, Celsius said, "So, who's this friend of yours? Does he have a car like this to, or is it a jet?" Celsius looked over at the clock and it read two thirty five, "Time sure flies when you're in the air, am I right?"

"Oh yes. And my friend. His car, can't fly. It could just go really, really, really, really fast. I mean, you've got to meet him. He's got something that no other pegasus does." Nitro stated as he slowed down and found a road to land. He lower the rocket thrusters' power, made the tires unfold and landed smoothly back on the road. Nitro then started to drive back to his HQ.

"And what would that be exactly?" Celsius said staring out the passenger window, "Would you like for me to get my jet? I'm sure you'd like to see her fly?" Celsius wondered why his vision was blue, it was because of his aviator goggles were still on, "Ooops, heh, forgot to take these off, also if your going to fly in the passengers seat, your going to need the proper because we are going way above the clouds and there is less oxygen up their."

"We're going to my HQ first. I'm gonna have you meet my best friend Thunder Dash." Nitro stated as he drove to his headquarters. He soon arrived there to find Thunder just finishing a tuneup on his Venom GT. Nitro parked the car and opened the canopy. "Hey Thunder." He said. Thunder Dash turned and saw Nitro. "Oh, hey Nitro. Who's that blue pegasus with you?" Thunder asked. "Oh, this is my new friend Celsius." Nitro stated.

Celsius was eager to show them his new jet he'd been fixing up and modifying. He walked up with Nitro and was greeted by yet another awesome car. Celsius was in heaven with fast things. He had a grin on his face when he said, "Hello, nice to meet you, I hear you have another fast car?"

"Yep, this sweet baby right here: The Hennessy Venom GT." Thunder stated as he gathered electricity and made a wrench appear from the blue. He then tightened a loose bolt on a nitrous line, which had been leaking before. "So...did you want to take a ride in it?" Thunder asked.

Celsius's eyes grew wide, yet again. But he really wanted for them to ride in his jet, "Yeah sure, but only if it breaks the sound barrier, I only ride or drive in things that break barriers," he said with a grin, "Also it's nice to meet you," said Celsius sticking out his hoof for a shake.

Thunder shook Celsius's hoof. "Oh...it will." Thunder stated as he climbed into his Venom GT. He then started to motor and revved it loudly, causing some of the things nearby to rattle. "Well...are you ready?" Thunder asked. Nitro then went to pull his Egoista closer into the garage.

"Man, If I can handle speeds up to 2,000 mph in my jet, then I'm positive that I'm ready," Celsius stated as he climbed into the GT and strapped in, "let's ride." Celsius grew more and more anxious on showing them his maxed out jet that he'd been working on for the last five years ever since he moved from Cloudsdale.

Thunder drove to a secret area of the HQ, that led to a very long straightaway. He lined up at the starting line. He then flipped a few switches, and two thrusters unfolded. They were not rocket powered. Thunder gathered a load of energy and revved the car up to 4000rpm. He continued to gather electricity. As he was gathering electricity, his body started to glow.

"Let's see what she can really do," said Celsius as he stared at the window then to the gauges. Celsius still wondered about his jet. He loved her so much that he slept in the cockpit one night, he takes pride in his work. Celsius was waiting for the car to break the barrier and see her max speed, so he could know what he's up against if they decide to race.

(OOC: Thunder's only keeping the engine at 4000rpm because he's about to do a super launch. You know how dragsters do it right?)

 

Thunder then quickly gathered a last load of electricity. He then let it out as he put the car in drive and slammed the gas. The car shot up to 200mph within 5 seconds. Thunder had just shifted into second. He then pressed the nitrous buttons on his steering wheel and the car hit 300mph. The car's speed continued to increase.

(OOC: Oh, ok. Celsius will be ready for it, he was a member of the Royal Guard Air Force and preformed in lots of air shows, so he can handle that unexpected jolt )

 

Celsius felt the jolts every time Thunder shifted, but they didn't affect him. He remembered his first air show and how he was still afraid of heights and going fast. But he eventually grew out of that, and now he loves to go above the clouds and break sound barriers. Celsius was staring out into the distant road, they were coming up to the end, very fast. "Hey, I want to see this car hit 500mph before the end of this straightaway."

"You've asked for it!" Thunder stated as he opened a casing and pulled a lever. He then pushed it back in. A whirring could be heard. He then flipped a few more switches and the rocket thrusters engaged. The car shot off so fast, that it could keep a pony bolted in their seat. The car passed 500mph, and broke the sound barrier within 4 seconds. Thunder then pulled a secret switch. Wings popped out on the sides. The car took off into the air straight up. Thunder passed the height Nitro was going. Thunder opened a compartment and took out an oxygen mask. "Celsius, there's a compartment on the right side of your door. Pull it, and you'll find an oxygen mask." Thunder stated as he continued to ascend into the air.

Celsius was the kind of pony who was always prepared. He stated, "I have my own mask that I keep on me for safety reasons." With that, Celsius put on his aviator goggles, looked at his hoof and pushed a button revealing an air mask from the goggles. "I made these goggles my self," he said proudly into the built in mic.
