disabilities in equestria?

So i am reading a fanfic and in it a human is transformed into a pony and is suprised that his horn works. I was wondering what are your thoughts on disabilities in equestria? like horns not working or wings not flying etc?

 

Will ask that you please respond to my other thread as to weather twilight or other ponies have autism.

That would be a bit abnormal, but I wouldn't say that it is bad.  But, disabilities could show how they work in their world.

Yeah but seriously, I think that wouldn't be out of the bounds of the show. Ponies have been debilitated before, including Rainbow Dash as a main cast member.
