[Remix] In The Skies

That's not bad!  Just needs some lyrics I think but then again, it sounds good without.  Would you consider this Eurobeat or whatever the genre is called that sounds like old arcade music?  Actually, sounds like MilkyTracker music.  :D

Here we go again... Sure, the melody is good, but this guy literally keeps downloading songs off of youtube, speeding them up in Audacity or something, calling them remixes and not giving any credit to the original artist.

MyLittleRemix is the place to be for pony music, and the people there have pretty much confirmed that it's a troll.

I'm on the same thing with you on that one. A remix takes a lot of work and thought.

I can know, as I am learning production of modern "Bass Music" (collective name for Dubstep, Drumstep, Electro House, DnB, Glitch Hop, Moombahcore and Complextro). I've been learning for half a year now, and while I now have all the base knowledge, I still don't know how to use Massive that well, there are many features I have not explored in Ableton and I still haven't even bothered to get into layered drum compression, EQ modulation for growls, mixing & mastering or even just being able to create more subtle sounds and transitions. It takes years to learn to make music, but you only have to learn it once. After learning, though, you are still going to spend over 100 hours on a track if you really want to make it sound like you imagined. I am planning to slowly build up my knowledge of music, as well as skills (that's the best way for me to learn. Can't handle more than 10 minutes worth of info a day) until I reach "escape velocity", where I will have developed enough to get going and not get stuck all the time, causing my skill and knowledge to skyrocket. I have some ridiculously dynamic and emotional track ideas in my head, so I'd really love to be able tout that down at some point. To be able to let others hear what the music in my head sounds like.

When it comes to that, I have a bright outlook on the future. Mind reading may be a foreign concept for us, but it is being developed as we type here. Some think it might have bad consequences, like others reading your mind. I'm sure there would be a way to regulate that, otherwise the internet would've destroyed the world by now. What I am dreaming of, is ripping video/audio feeds from what you are thinking about. To be able to create a sound by thinking of it, and edit it by thinking of what you want to do to it. It would truly turn production from an elusive art, into an open world full of individuals expressing themselves. The musical revolution that the internet started is amazing already, and I'm glad I'm taking part in it.

For me, I fuse crazy things together. When people hear what I do, they think it's a bunch of mambo-jumbo. I do modern bass music, but I fuse it with other stuff. It seems like we could take this conversation into PM. Want to?
